Almost same time I believe it was just an hour difference between pre arrival letter and ppr email.
I was in wrong group earlier so I am posting my inquiry here.
Hello guys. I applied for my husband in Oct( paper base) and I got mail on 6 Dec to pay biometric fee. After that got medical request. Medical done and submitted now I got mail yesterday that ur file is transfer to New Delhi office. Is it normal. After they sent file to delhi how much time it take and what all they will do

Application received 24 October
Aor Nov first week
Got mail to submit biometric fee Nov end
Got mail on December 6 that I am eligible to sponsor my husband.
Next day got mail to get medical done.
After that got mail ur file transfer to delhi.
I am in Canada and my husband is in India. One more thing should I apply for tourist visa for him or should I wait ? My application is paper base

Sent my application Sept19th. Received it September 27th. October he did the medical and biometrics. December 4th we were asked to do IMM 5669 again. Got that done. Friday, November 13th we were asked to submit his passport. No decision from the Canadian government has been declared yet. So I think this is a good sign right????? I hope so!

The IMM 5669 is the Schedule A background document. Originally we gave the 2018 form, they emailed us asking us to fill in the 2019 form and upload it onto our GC Key account. I live in India with my husband.
It said in order to finalise his application, he is to send his passport to VFS Global (safe and secure passport transmission company- they will secure our passports and send it to the High Commission for us). They also asked for 2 more photos and they had a section about planning ahead.
"As you are now in a possession of a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR), or have
been notified to submit your travel documents in preparation for the issuance of a COPR, you
are strongly encouraged to obtain free pre-arrival services funded by Immigration, Refugees
and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). A variety of online services and in-person sessions are
available to you, your spouse and your dependants. These services will help you understand life
in Canada, employment and how to access other free settlement services once you arrive."
Congratulations, you are done - except for getting the passport back and moving to Canada.
Meds updated as 'passed' in gcms, only three or four days after seeing the doctors. (Doctors BTW said the blood tests alone would take five days, so I was counting on a few weeks for this stage).
Rather expecting the next period before some further communication will be long ('difficult' country, i.e may be security clearances). GCMS says "You may not hear from us for a little while, this is normal. Most of the progress on your application happens closer to your estimated completion date."

New Delhi is kind of slowest VO...next step is to check in ECAS when file is received by New Delhi...then they will put a date on which they will start processing your application (AOR2)

People from April / May are waiting to get their DM/PPR...
Can I ask how long you have been married and do you have kids ?
my AOR date is 10th Oct...file moved to NDVO on Dec 9th
