Does anyone know if Background verification will change to complete without fingerprint request? Should I even expect a FP request? I haven't done FP yet.
My timeline is below:
Toronto applicant, family of 3
App sent Oct 8, 2019
App received sometime Oct 2019
AOR Jan 3, 2020
Background verification: completed Jan 29, 2020
Everything else: In progress apart from test and oath which are not started

1. Yes it can complete without it. Lot are done with background check including myself without any FP.
2. No need to expect. if they need, they will ask. I too didnt give FP.

Citizenship test updated to completed on Aug 15th 2021. Language, Physical Presence, Prohibitions - in progress. Ceremony - not started.
Bit of history - App sent Oct 2019 - Process started Jan 3rd 2020 - Test email received on Feb 8th 2021 - I had given my test on Feb 22nd 2021 and had received no further update.
Unique situation since I received completion after almost 6 months but any advise as to when can I see everything else completed?

I've updated the spreadsheet.
To avoid disappointment, expect it'll take at least 3 - 5 months for oath notification from the date the test results were validated.
About "Decision Made" status, it could take a couple of months from the date when the test results were validated. This is when Language, Physical Presence, Prohibitions are set to "Completed".
Damn. 6 months to review my test and another 3-5 months for oath ceremony.

Just finished my citizenship ceremony. It's extremely chaotic on zoom but nonetheless, it happens only once. Today is my first day as a Canadian Citizen.
Its been a long journey and a lot of paperwork, from student visa to work permit to PR to citizenship and this forum has been very helpful. Thank you to everyone who has helped along in the journey and answered questions on this forum. This forum is the best!
