Do they call from recognized numbers or "no caller ID", to be on the lookout?
I assume they call from no caller ID. They would be stupid to call you from a number that you can call back and harass them lol.
Btw, just pick up all phone calls received, if it is a scam just press "End Call". It's not that hard to do.

People have received from regular phone number. Not all know to dial hiding the number.

Are these shown numbers recognized and known based on the office?
Of course all combinations have been posted here. Some said they recognize from the local office's area code but we cant know who works from home and which number they will use.
I will start answering my phone on strange numbers then  It is possible that I missed a call from them. Not a good thought above all the worry and anxiety
Yes no other choice. Just attend all calls till we get rid of cic.

logged in today and another update on Aug 2nd.. it said citizenship oath is in progress and another update says
Scheduled for Citizenship oath
New update - Citizenship ceremony

Congratulations! You've been scheduled to attend your citizenship ceremony on November 4, 2021. Follow the instructions you will receive in your ceremony invitation.

I am surprised they scheduled so far in advance.. We haven't received an actual email with an invite as of yet but I hear it can take a few weeks? Super happy alteast there is a date but has anyone else gotten an invite for so far in advance. We live in North Bay, ON and previous correspondence is from Scarborough office.. even though I think Sudbury, ON would be our closest.. maybe by November they will be resuming the Oaths in Sudbury?

I've updated the spreadsheet.

Yes, check the 2019 and 2020 spreadsheets (links are in my signature). Several applicants have received oath dates about 2 - 3 months in the future.

You'll receive an email about a week or two before the oath ceremony.

Good luck!

Hello,

I checked the tracker today. Please update these info:
-Fingerprints received Aug 3rd.
-Background Completed Aug 4th

Prohibitions stills says in progress. Anyone has any idea whats the difference between background and prohibitions and roughly how long will it take to get updated?
As always, thank you for all the help and good luck to everyone!

I've updated the spreadsheet.

Prohibitions, AFAIK, is one last check to make sure you aren't prohibited from applying for Citizenship before they make a decision on your application. Your Prohibitions will stay "In Progress" until a decision is made on your application.

Good luck!

Hi all. Submitted request for information on the application yesterday. Only thing missing is oath, over 3 months since decision made and oath has not started. I don’t thing there is much to find out, but I asked anyway. And mentioned to them that a delay could mean I’d have to submit my FP for the third time (which is not for free). I’m so done with it.

Hello Everyone,

Early this week, I submitted a scanned copy of all my passports with a certified translation of stamps requested last week. Today, I can see on my tracker that I have been scheduled for an interview.

Has anyone attended an interview? What was the process?

Thank You

Well, interview is going to be simple IMO.

Have the originals of ALL documents you submitted with your Citizenship application ready. For the most part, the discussion will be about the stamps on your passport and your travel history during the eligibility period.

All the best!

They will send you a consent form and a Teams meeting invite. Have all the documents you submitted so far in hand (in the initial application package and anything they asked later). Show up for the online interview, and that’s it. Don’t forget you must be in Canada for this. They will ask you to confirm this.

Yep. That’s how it went for me. The agent was nice, fun. Honestly, nothing to worry about.
