I completed my test on 25th Jan, no updates after that. Earlier last year 2020 feb, we got a fingure print request, I doubt due to this my application might be considered as non routine and will take more time. Does anyone who got finger print request earlier and received any further updates(DM or oath) recently after online test?

Fingerprint request is normal, it is just for them to complete the necessary background check. Don't worry, if you have finished your test now you just need to be patient. To be honest, you are one of the lucky ones that have received test invitations while thousands are still waiting :) You'll hear something in the coming days/weeks.

I am still awaiting for the test invite but I have to leave Canada by the end of April for personal reasons. I am hoping to complete my test by then. My question is: Can we postpone the test or oath and then get these done when we return back? or is that totally not possible?

Once you postpone, you have to wait for the fresh invite and it all depends when they pick all these deferred applications and start processing. I learnt this when I spoke to the agent.

My file is in Edmonton. I got the status changed to DM in Feb 14th. It is more than a month now. I did not receive any further communication.. Any comments ?
Oh.. over a month since DM? I can understand what you feel. Hoping, you get a reply soon. Did you try sending them an email, inquiring about the status?

As it seems, no oaths for March at all places. It will resume in April (according to several posts in Facebook group asked during interview). DM means you are all done just waiting for oath now. Nothing to worry about.

It's like being so close yet being so far. It's the uncertainty that irritates the most. If they tell us that we will get our citizenship in January 2025, we will be upset over the delay but we won't worry about it every day because now we know the date.

But instead everyday we check the forum, our ECAS, our emails because we don't know if we are getting that email today or tomorrow or a year from now.

I agree. Uncertainty is the worst thing one may have to face. Cannot plan anything, got to stick around and stand in the queue lest we miss the bus, which may call any time.

I called them today, and they told me that my application is with Scarborough office. I have been told that it is the slowest office with huge backlog.
Is there anyone with applications in Scarborough? Any experience?
