A question: does anyone know if we can invite people to the virtual oath ceremony, please?

No one said anything about recording. I am asking about participating: inviting others to participate and watch (with no recording).
In the in-person sessions you could invite friends/family.

Just find that someone from Montreal here took a test on December 2020? Any other folks from Quebec? I have been invited for test in Feb 2020 then it got cancelled and nothing since then. My thought was that Quebec offices were not open? Anyone can relate?

I applied in Dec 2019 and received a test invite on Jan 19th, 2021

First statement No is for you.
But in another post, i dont remember exactly but i think that one person asked on it and he was allowed. Not sure about it. Thinking you can ask during preparation and see if they allow.

During inperson, they wont be with you in line but they would be in some other place to watch but here with video, there is no place hence i think that some administrators dont want to include. But surely just ask before the oath start.

Hello,

I have applied citizenship on Oct 2019, received AOR - Feb 26 2020 from Sydney NS.
And then receive Fingerprints request from Vancouver office in March 2020.

Since then , I have no update on my file except saying your fingerprints received in April 2020.

I would like to know I am a resident in Toronto Ontario, why they send me finger print request from Vancouver ?
Though the customer care guy saying my file is in Mississauga but i dint receive any email from Mississauga office yet for anything on my file.

Also are there people with same timeline who havent receive online test request or move their files forward ?

Our fingerprint requests came from Vancouver too. The timeline seems OK. June/July 2019 applicants have started getting online test invites So possibly few more weeks.

I feel ya... I don’t get it... we have the weakest covid-19 restrictions here in Vancouver (at least compared to Ontario) still Vancouver is the slowest!
