Because we are not the only one,, There are people waiting for tests since March 2020. There are people who have applied in early 2019 still waiting for test to be conducted. There is a sequence for IRCC in which they send out invites and its not necessarily based on applications sent date. I see many people whining about new applicants getting tests and the ones who were cancelled are still waiting.
People forget about the 8-months backlog in tests because of this pandemic.
Yep, that can happen. But if you are not confident, call IRCC and ask. They will let you know if something is required from you or if everything looks good.
Its normal. Adults inside family applicaiton are sometimes get separated based on the progress of one of the applications.
. But its good that they are not holding up other applicant just for pending one. So at least one of you get the citizenship soon which is one good thing.

Have you checked the application status? I don’t remember if they send any email when it moves to “in process”. I would call them if it’s not in process yet. If it is, it’s the same situation as many of us.
