Congratulations you are so lucky u should try your luck on lottery lol I have about same timeline as you have and I am still waiting for test and I M Saskatchewan applicant too

haha..Thank you.I sent the Saskatoon CIC office a mail asking about virtual ceremonies last week, 1 week later i got the invite. May be you can send them an inquiry about your application.

Did you filled the web inquiry form or sent an email? If it was email then what email address did you send your inquiry to? Thanks for sharing the info.

What timeline should I expect?
 
Hi, It might be a very basic question that others might have asked before, but didn't get any reference so asking. I have submitted my Citizenship application on October 2019. But the status is in-progress like others since then. Meanwhile my PR is expiring on Dec'2020. Can anyone please suggest whether I have to apply for renewal of my PR due to delay in Citizenship process. Or I can continue living in Canada without a PR extension as I have already applied for Citizenship and have an application number/ECAS received.

Highly appreciate your positive response. Thanks.

You don't need a PR card to keep PR status. You only really need it as proof of identity when you return to Canada from abroad. You only need to renew if it you have travel plans, which I doubt.

"You don’t lose your permanent resident status when your PR card expires. You can only lose your status if you go through an official process."
