Congratulations. How many persons took oath and whether there was any concern about Coronavirus ? Mine oath ceremony is in March 31st and I hv apprehension ? Thanks

Hi Chrisstina,

There were 91 persons took oath at Scarborough at that time. The only issue with Coronovirus was " you are not allowed to shake hand with the judge", but Corona virus situation is rapidly changing, we can not predict anything. Let's hope for the best.

Thanks for update. Since handshake etc was not allowed, then ceremony would be of 1 hour duration. Isn't it? Pl share

Did you guys get an email when your file status turned into "in-process"

Got a Fingerprinting request on Feb 28th, completed on March 4th.
Does IRCC post a "fingerprints received" or similar update on application status? I have not seen an update about it yet.

Hi Can you share about your oath scheduled for today? I am eager to know as my oath is scheduled for 31st March, 2020 and Coronavirus is also effective.

Hi all,

Does anyone know if there is any problem to move to another country after you submitted the application, but before the test and oath? We would keep our address here, it's just temporary.

Thanks!

It's approximately 2 hours, including waiting at the queue to enter, taking the booklet and other stuff, returning PR card......taking the oath, singing national anthem ....finally taking a picture with the judge!

Just now I got informed, tomorrow's test at Scarborough got canceled, I did not verify though.

On CIC's Facebook page:

"As a precautionary measure to stem the spread of #COVID19, IRCC is cancelling all citizenship ceremonies and citizenship tests as of March 14 until further notice."
