Yeap. It determines to which office your application will be sent. And offices have different processing times.

some cities are much faster to process if you look at the spreadsheet you can see
the cities and get an idea , and obviously that's not set in stone

Cannot get a response from IRCC. We received my wife's test/Interview date. It is March 10th. We are in Thailand till March 31st. I have emailed them 4 times already asking for a postponement. I have not heard back. I know by the content of the letter we received; they cannot deny us the postponement. I still have time to change our tickets if I have to but the time for this is running out. I do not wish to change the tickets at a substantial increase if I don't have to. I have also tried calling them but the 888 number does not work for calls outside of the country. Our appointment is in Scarborough. Does anyone know of another phone number for the Scarborough office so that I can talk with them directly. I just want a confirmation that they are changing the date so I can relax again. Thanks

Thank you. I called the number and it is very specific that it will not answer questions with regards to immigration or transfer the call. I guess I will keep emailing.

Have you tried using the IRCC web form? They should be able to get back to you within 5 days.

I just saw on the other thread, apparently you can call 888-242-2100 via Skype if you're oversea. Maybe gmail call works too. Good luck.

I called to IRCC today to check if they have my fingerprint in file and they confirmed that they have my fingerprint in file since Jan 29 the day they requested it and I done it after that I heard nothing
