Hi All,

got test invite letter today with interview for March 17th. Myself and wife got the letter.
So we were asked to bring all originals for processing. We go write test & pass, and attend interview and officer is satisfied, and do we get citizenship ceremony in same day ? Can we postpone citizenship swear in to another day maybe in June or July 1st ? Trying to understand what is the process here.

Congrats, you’re the first to report an invite out of GTA. Possibly because you had a generous buffer.

since you are in Toronto, the oath will be separate, likely in June/July. Same day test and oath are reserved for applicants in rural areas with faraway test/oath centres.
