And I just received a request for fingerprints. Anyone else got this?

It says, "After reviewing the biographical information on your application form, there are questions in your case with regard to sections 21 and/or 22 of the Citizenship Act, explained further on the second page of this letter."
I also received a FP request yesterday. Did you get it done through a RCMP accredited agency or directly through RCMP ?

Hi Folks, just a quick question, does anyone who used ups or any other courier have their package recieved or signed by Shawn?

Trying to figure out if my package was even delivered to a right place. Package delivered on Oct 30 and still no AOR email.

Thanks in advance
mine was signed by shawn. i used canada post though. did you check in ECAS using your UCI ID?

Hi Guys,

I got my Finger scan done on 7th Feb. Letter requesting FP was dated 21 Jan. I didn't check my mails frequently. My bad.

Anyways, the finger scanning guy was saying. We have 2 options.
One RCMP will send letter directly to CIC. Or you can get that letter and send registered post to CIC.

I took the first option. RCMP sending mail directly to CIC. But finger scanning agency said this is not tracked.
What option did you guys use?

Also none of my family members application is "In Process" yet online. Would have liked to see online than checking my physical mails.

It's likely fingerprint request. IRCC agent told me that local offices usually contact by emails but fingerprint request is normally by mail.
It was actually a finger prints request. They mailed me letter on Feb 3 and I received it yesterday. Should get FPs done pretty soon.

Through an agency. It was closer for me, I could book a time, and did it the day after.

Hi,
I chose the FP to be sent directly, too. You can contact RCMP after a few days and ask about the status. The agency where you had the FP taken gave you a report, right? There is an email there and a DCN # to contact RCMP.

I did, nothing there yet, I have a very strange feeling that they have lost my application which means I have to send a new one losing 4 months of time as well

you can submit an inquiry on IRCC web form with your tracking number and delivered day... or just call IRCC

I just ended up calling them few minutes ago. The Rep actually said that's wierd and he sent a request to look for the physical envelope and actually mentioned that I might have to send a new file if they couldn't locate it

Sorry to hear that. I hope it's not missing... so much personal information. I'd call them again in a couple days to follow up.
