Got my fingerprints done today. Agency sent those to RCMP and they will deliver results to CPC Sydney, NS.It was actually a finger prints request. They mailed me letter on Feb 3 and I received it yesterday. Should get FPs done pretty soon.
No, not everyone. They select randomly.Does everyone need to go through the FP with RCMP step? We are family of 3 with a kid who is 9 years old ?
Hi
Hi,
I chose the FP to be sent directly, too. You can contact RCMP after a few days and ask about the status. The agency where you had the FP taken gave you a report, right? There is an email there and a DCN # to contact RCMP.
RCMP email is ccrtis-scictr@rcmp-grc.gc.ca. They strongly recommend to wait for atleast 2 weeks to let document arrive at CPC before contacting RCMP about status.Agency told me to follow up with CIC if they got mail from RCMP or not post 20 March, if i see no update.
I do have DCN number. But don't have RCMP mail; Also not sure if they will entertain it.

In Process: Feb 1st

Just believe that to be normal/routine process, so closer to test. But am not sure if all get finger print requests.Does anybody has an idea, why did CIC send the fingerprint request? is it going to take longer than the normal process or should I consider it one step closer to get test request? thanks in advance.
