Yeah... i watched the complete interview. It really bugs me how they try to spin that 170,000 number as if it was somehow a good sign or impressive. So, in the 22 month period from april 2020 to jan 2022 they sworn in significantly FEWER citizens than in 2019 (over 250,000). =/IRCC has expanded the use of virtual citizenship ceremonies, and is working to increase the number of candidates participating in ceremonies. Since April 1, 2020, over 170,000 applicants have become citizens through video oath ceremonies.

The inventory is nearly half a million people, and they only finalized 170,000 in nearly 2 years....
