@legalfalcon While submitting my passport for visa stamping, do I need to provide my expired and current passport or only current passport is enough? Considering my application was initially on the now expired passport and I had to renew my passport in between.

So please let me know which passports do I need to submit after getting the RFV mail.

If after renewing your passport you sent IRCC the bio page from the new passport then just send in the new passport now

Only the current passport is required. If you have not updated your passport, you can do so via webform.

Hey congratulations .. plz let me know one thing . . When you receive your re medical request ??? Have you applied from canada ???
I received the request on 8th Dec. 2020 for medicals and valid passport submission
I applied from India itself
My file was approved in Feb 2020 as per GCMS notes and RFV mail was also sent but due to lockdown I did not receive my RFV mail and I kept asking them for an update and requested them to resend the mail.
My passport was to expire in April 2021 so got Request letter from IRCC on 8th Dec 2020 to submit a valid passport.

Also I received my PPR from CIO

Hello sir.. I have a question and I feel you would satisfy my query . In my gcms notes my file was approved on 29 April 2020. Passed my re medical on 22 January 2021. No PPR yet . But I have a family emergency so I have to withdraw some amount from my bank account. Would it affect my PPR ??? After a month I will put that amount again ...plz let me know..

In my opinion, Its fine, they don't keep tracking your money. You will have to show enough funds now only when you land in Canada to the immigration officer.

Don't worry if you withdraw some as long as you will be putting it back. Just make sure you have the amount you mentioned at the time of flying to Canada

Ideally, you have to meet the PoF, when you apply as well as when you land in Canada. If you have an emergency you can withdraw your funds and deposit them back as soon as possible. If IRCC asks for an updated PoF, you can explain the situation.

@legalfalcon sir, I have question regarding applications approved in GCMS notes. Since many applicants haven’t received PPR but their COPR expired as per notes. I saw a post about application going from approved to unapproved in notes. Are these files reopened again?? What does it mean by final review again, does it mean whole process including eligibility is done again??

IRCC is not issuing COPR / PPR because fo this reason. When a COPR / PPR is issued, the file is closed. If the COPR expires, then it has to be reopened and a final review has to be done again. During the final review it ensured that all documents are valid, and not expired.

Approved to unapproved is just a changed official status and nothing more. The eligibility is not reviewed again again, however, it is at the discretion of the officer to ask for review PoF.
