hello october applicant here..

heres my timeline
sponsor from quebec
PA- philippines
application received to CPC-M : october 24, 2018
AOr :november 22,2018
SA:january 29,2019
CSQ request : feb 18,2019
CSQ RECEIVED : march 5,2019
-----waiting-----

until now no update or anything...
how many months before they send MR?
My application is of the same date 24th Oct..
Waiting after file got transfered to local visa office in January.. nothing after that...wait wait and wait...it becomes really frustrating at times

How do I know if BGC has started ? My file states "We are processing your background check". Is that the same as started ?

Check ecas, Principal applicant's part (not sponsor's)
Do you have line "we started processing on ..."?
If yes, you can consider it as AOR2. Not all visa offices send AOR2, but this line tells that VO stared working on PA's application. If no line in ecas, means your application either waiting to be transferred, or on it's way to VO or waiting when VO's officer will take your file
Thanks for the advice! Still no change on ECAS as well though :/

I’m worried about not having done biometrics yet... and why is this taking so long! My husband and I haven’t been married very long and the separation is so hard. Any other ladies with North African husbands message me I’m looking for support.

Hi,
My husband isn’t North African but I’m in the same predicament as you. The separation is so hard and our babies are going to be turning 1, he won’t be here.
Our application had been transferred and medicals have been done. But there has been no biometrics and they asked for an updated schedule A.
Our application was received October 18.

Can anyone who has had BGC in process from the very beginning confirm that this is true? Have you checked gcms notes or perhaps received ppr?
