I just got a letter requesting a bunch of additional documents. Some of which are included in my application.

PA birth certificate - was included
PA police clearance - was included
PA CENOMAR - our marriage certificate was included ???

PA requested to resubmit schedule A due to missing addresses - there are no missing addresses.

Proof that I, the Sponsor, intend to live in Canada...we are already living in Canada.

I need to talk to an actual human. I tried to call CIC Mississauga 7 times today. 4 minutes each call to navigate menus that resulted in getting hung up on (no available agents recording)

I know they must be overwhelmed, but there must be a better way than this.

Hello, for the "PA CENOMAR", in addition to marriage certificate, we are also required to submit Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Advisory on Marriages (your spouse will get this when she requests a CENOMAR). This was listed under country specific requirements. I advise to request this right away (if she hasn't already) as it takes a few days to get. :)

They Need Cenomar in the application for spousal? I think i forgot to include mine.

There were no country specific instructions for the Philippines when I checked.

Seems kind of ridiculous to need to submit a CENOMAR when we are married...don’t you think?

Luckily my wife has it with her, but they didn’t specify a NBI police check on the checklist either.

It’s possible to get that from outside the country but there’s no way it will get done under 30 days.

Frustrating.

Yea, I thought it didn't make sense to have both marriage certificate and Advisory on Marriages (Cenomar), as they mean the same thing. But I just had this last minute thought to include it just in case.

As for the NBI, yea it wasn't on the checklist, it was on a completely different site.
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...lice/police-certificates/how/philippines.html

"Alternatively, you may have a relative or representative in the Philippines apply on your behalf. To do so, you must provide him or her with written authorization to submit your NBI application and all required documents. Your NBI Clearance will be returned to your representative." Maybe this is a faster way?

So Can you upload all your missing Documents online? Or are they sending back your application so you can send it again with all the Other documents that are missing?

HI All - dumb question to be sure - I thought the AOR meant that they had reviewed all the documents and accepted the application package. When I was reading the Canada.ca website, it says that AOR is simply that - acknowledgement of receipt. Does that mean that the application could still be rejected? I don't think we missed anything, but I am very anxious about it!

AOR confirms that the document checklist is complete and the application is accepted for processing..once the application number is generated it wont be returned,a decision has to be made on it after review..

We can email them to an address that was on the letter. Definitely better than having to start over. My wife is already in Canada though, so there are more hoops to jump through because of that.

Hey guys! I'm struggling to link my application to my online account, I got my AOR on Thursday and have been trying ever since...is this normal? I have tried so many times that I've been kicked off the site once or twice! (I guess I'm just overly eager...)

Also more out of curiosity, how soon did u guys hear back from the IRCC AFTER receiving your AOR? Was the next step sponsor approval or medical exam?

Did you put # of applicants 2?

Did you put # of applicants 2?
I only put 1 applicant, because my husband and I have no dependents...was this incorrect?

My biggest fear is filling out forms where one mistake can cost an entire application...this process has really forced me to confront this! :P

Yes. If it's just you and him it's 2.

Wow thanks! I honestly would not have guessed to do this!

Edit: Still no luck, they still say they cannot find my application. So frustrating!

There's other tricks and tips, leaving city and passport info blank, etc. Search the forum, there's a thread.

Don't use UCI. Use application # and last name
