Is it common for biometrics and medical to get requested around the same time ? The reason why I ask is because we got biometrics request last week (no medical request yet) and my wife has to travel 3hrs to a different city to get them done. Don't want to travel to get biometrics done and then receive medical request a few days later and have to travel another 3hrs to get that done. Would like to have them both done at once while we are there. Should I wait ? Worried that it might be awhile until we receive medical request and waste time.
There's usually a gap. Mine was like 3-4 days difference. You'll get it soon hopefully. Wait a week or so and if you still don't get it then (my suggestion would be) get your Bio-metrics done.

Got a request for further paperwork needed for proof of identity. There's two email options in the letter. Anyone know how quickly they check these and if there's an acknowledgement that the information was received.

I’m in the same boat. Got a request for multiple documents in mid January. Sent everything to the email address in the letter. No update. GCKey still says “action required”. It’s been over two weeks and haven’t heard a thing.

Today I got a email from CPC M , ur file transfer to Singapore for further processing.
My medical Passed- 5th October
Biometric done- 12th October. What next procedure????

Good Day Everyone,

I’m not sure if I should be worried about my application. I’ve received my AOR on February 16th - but, my husband (Canadian Citizen) and I are moving to Canada at the end of March. If and when I receive my letter to carry out my biometrics do I have to fly back to my home country or will it be facilitated in Canada?

Kind Regards.

You’ll have to complete your biometrics outside of Canada. You can go to any VAC in the world though so could pop over the border to the closest US VAC to provide your biometrics.

It’s likely however that you’ll get your biometric request within the next 30 days. So keep your fingers crossed.

That's really worrying! I'm going to finally send them the documents tomorrow and if I get a reply I will post. Hopefully it doesn't take long.

Hey guys! I was wondering the approx time between passing the medical exam/SA and AOR2? We passed our medical Feb 12 (but acknowledged on our online application Feb 14) and we are eager for the next step.
