By the way, did you check your email in detail? also check spam folder. The subject of the email for the test invite will have words "Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada Event Notification"

In the below scenario: If I were you, I would try to contact CIC and try to confirm everything is OK. In my opinion, you should have atleast got a test date by now, if not already completed.

Maybe you should apply for GCMS NOTES ...

I called them today and they said they will contact the local office to clarify (Calgary) but they said it is possible that I might have a test and the oath ceremony on the same date. This is not very common, they said, but it happens. They also told me to be prepared for both events that day.
I also did some research today on this forum and I realized some people do get both on the same day. Some people said some people who live far away from the local office, they tend to get both done on the same day. Well, it makes sense to me as I live in Canmore (about 1 hour drive from Calgary).
I guess, I'm going to wait until I get the letter probably this week to see what it says!!

OK. I got all straightened out. I am invited to both events (Test AND the Oath Ceremony, if I pass) on the same day on June 3rd in Calgary..
I've got to say I'm surprised that I have to take only one trip to take these both events. Needlessly to say, I'm very thrilled that this is going to end before Summer. This is just too great.
Got an email test invitation today and my ECAS was updated on April 25 for the oath ceremony invitation for the same day (June 3rd)

I've got to study the guide hard now!! I haven't looked at it for a while.

you are not the only one for sure. I am from Greater Vancouver also. Your timeline is similar to me.
Family of 3. Application received 9Oct 2018 and My IP is since 29Dec2018 and no test invite yet. I also called and they said don’t worry it’s not a year yet.
Vancouver is pretty slow. Good thing you have joined the forum so Keep updating the forum of any moment in the application process and/ or any issues. This will help you.

Turns out local CIC office moves super fast.
They got my supplement documents yesterday and status changed to DM today!
Hooray!

I am super pissed that after the test the officer did not verify all my entry records in person. She wanted to do it on her own in private and now she found that she needed some documents from me, which I already brought along with me during the test, and requested photocopy of all my passport pages. It greatly delayed my application and I am very mad but there's nothing i can do!

For those of you who have not taken a test - VERIFY EVERYTHING ON THE SPOT DURING YOUR INTERVIEW.
