I am bit confused. I am a Brampton resident and thought that my application will be processed by Mississauga IRCC CENTRE. But in my Finger Print letter it is showing as

GREATER TORONTO AREA - CEN
15TH FLOOR
325 MILNER AVE
SCARBOROUGH ON M1B 5N1

Does that mean my application is getting processed by Scarborough Cen instead of Mississauga ?

Yes but believe me its good news. You really dont want to be a mississauga applicant as they have huge backlog and still processing Jan-Feb 2018 applicants

Thanks Zmaqsood. Yes Indeed its a good news.
I called the FingerPrint agency and they asked me whether you are going to send the report directly to IRCC or let RCMP send it. They said it can be done either way and if you send it can be done by private courier and can track. I am not sure which one to use.

Wouldn’t it be couple of days quicker if RCMP sends it directly to processing centre? RCMP mails them by Canada post. So RCMP to us and then from us to processing Center. Would that not delay by couple of days?

Just wanted to understand.

I checked with the local Finger Print agency and they advise to get it send to my home address and then I can send it to IRCC. The reason is that RCMP will process it within 72 hrs and will post it so ideally we will receive it within 10 days and if not we can call and ask for update. Once we receive it at our home address we can courier or register post to the local visa processing center . This way we can make sure that it was delivered to local IRCC office.
If RCMP send directly to IRCC all we can do is to contact IRCC to check whether they received it or not but that can be done only after 6 weeks only. So long story short, even though RCMP to us and then to IRCC take couple of days extra, we have better control and track of the FP.

Can anyone tell me... are the invitation for test being sent by email or my post?
