Hi all,

Does anyone have any idea on what basis CIC is sending Fingerprint request? I am seeing that not all are getting that. Whats the basis of picking some applicants ?

For those who got invited for the test, is the notification an email or a regular mail? I'm away from home now and won't be home for another two weeks. I'm sure I won't get anything within 2 weeks but just in case, I would like to know for sure.. thanks.

If you had provided the email address, they will communicate using email otherwise they will send mail. However you can keep checking on Ecas for status update. You will see a fourth step.

I got the below point long back in ECAS but i never received any book i mean hard copy. Did any one got it?

applicant
- fingerprints done on Jan 30.

Feb 06. Test invite for both applicants
- test date Mar 05 at 8:15

You can always order a hardcopy for free from the link - if you click discover canada and follow the process.

You would get the book in a week or so.

One of the reasons is that an applicant shares the same gender and birthdate as someone with a criminal record.

Hello All.

Where can I get the finger prints scan in Calgary? My ECAS changed and says correspondence was sent, so I believe that would be the finger print request.

There's no required income level, your main qualifications are your physical presence in Canada and clean criminal record. If you've never worked a day since becoming PR and you meet all the requirements you will get your citizenship.
