Actually I read of someone on this platform who only saw the notification via CIC account, no ppr mail, and spam folder etc were checked. Don't know if it later came as an email to the person though.

Only interview call notifications in CIC account (mostly Inland Files) otherwise PPR in your email account.

Background process still shows as In-progress only. But by calling CIC and GCMS notes I got to know everything was cleared.

You gotta keep trying. It took me 5 attempts to get through. I waited 40 mins to hear the agent. Need to be really patient.

That's true, sometimes you have to call 10 to 15 attempts.
Try 10 times but no luck... I will try next week.

Received a response to my webform enquiry, seems to mirror what the agent told me. It does as Sithlord says, just seems to be a delay in Ottawa processing 2018 applications sadly.

I received the PPR email today. I called CIC 2-3 days back and got the email today. So relaxed...!!!

my AOR- 26th Oct Visa office - NDVO not sure of IP1 and IP2 dates.

Aor - 5th Oct. ABPNP - Inland
5th March - File move from Etobicoke to Niagara Falls.
Eligibility passed - 15th April
Background in Progress.

Mine oct 2nd
BC pnp inland
Background check started 18th March
Still waiting for ppr

Guys please help here with a response on this sibling risk I see as you all are are the only support system!!

Just FYI I raised a webform last week and got the same standard reply..we are review eligibility bla bla and let you know as soon as there is progress...it been 6 months and a week

Always Generic Reply... if you have any question or concerns, plz call CIC and talk to agent!

They told me that my file is already approved and they sent an email on Apr 9th to which i told them that i never received any email. There have been instances with others also where file is approved but applicant never received email. The best is to call them and generally they send email in 2-3 days time. Also keep checking Spam folder also.

Called IRCC yesterday and they said Eligibility is MET and BG not yet completed.

Wonder what this means in terms of the timelines

Guys when I spoke to an agent yesterday he said Ottawa is facing massive backlogs and we should expect a delay anywhere between 2 weeks to a month

But they are inviting 6k to 8k people every month. Its better to clear that backlogs first.
Anyway, our job is waiting... waiting... waiting...
