Yes I ordered GCMS thrice. My file is simple, just one employment letter to be verified and Im single applicant. But until 7 months my file was just collecting dust with no updates in gcms. And now they changed my Eligibility from "Recommend Passed" to "Review Required" without mentioning any reason/comments by Case Analyst.
Alright. On my opinion, you're file is ok, you just did not get luck for any reasons, it's unfair unfortunaletly, and it's my nightmare too for my file !
One day, I had a very nice agent on the phone that explained me how they look at our file. Apparently, at the final review, the officer that is usually very experienced, can ask for another review if there is something that he is not sure or if a very new agent looked at our file first and he is not sure. The problem, she told me, is that, it has nothing to do with are documents, it is really just to be safe sometimes and this process can delay a loooot applications, that is why some people wait for a year, they kind of do everything twice.
Keep hope, the good news is that it should be over soon for you, I want to give you some positive vibes !!! I think I never heard some more than 12/13 months throught express entry, but I am not sure. Maybe try to call them, it's not often, but at this stage a nice agent can decide to do something...
