I wish I could put that 'laughing smiley with tears in its eyes' :D But thanks for the positivity :) and I wish same ;) But to be honest I just pray to get the PPR even if its slightly delayed. I have had 2 previous refusals so a third one would be too much of a damage :p:oops:
don't worry, you will get it soon. :)

sorry 2 hear that, i am stressed because i am not on job since August 2018 becauw my project got over..so i am stressed , i hope that doesn't hurt my case...worked so hard for this since jan 18 on this pr...my case is all legit, still i have to worry just because i m not currently on job
I don't think that would be an issue, since the applicant has to provide a minimum of 1 year continuous experience in the past 10 years. It must be just a regular review that most people get and then get cleared once the case officer reviews the documents without any ADRs. And even ADR isn't a bad thing, its just their way of reassuring certain things. So relax and hope for good only :)

Just made a call to CIC today. According to the agent, eligibility is passed (from my last GCMS notes it was recommend passed by the case analyst), security and criminal checks are complete. I asked if this meant that the application was approved, he said while he could not find anywhere that mentioned that it was approved, everything seemed to be complete and it's just waiting to be finally approved.

Here I am really confused; I used to think only the visa officer as the third reviewer could change the status of eligibility from recommended pass to pass; so has my case been reviewed by the final VO? If it is why did the agent say the case is still not approved yet?

I am CEC inland, AOR Oct 21/18.

Many thanks in advance!

I am in the same situation, my application was deemed to complete but waiting for final review at Vancouver visa office. Mine was complete on Feb 20, and I am still waiting !!!! Omg. I am worried why it takes so long...
AOR oct 1, CEC inland and my local VO is Vancouver

Ghost Update is when the status on CIC login shows "Application update", But when you open that nothing looks to have changed.
People get GU at different times, if its after the BGC has started, most of the times it means application approved.

Yes even I think so, Eligibility under review isn't bad always. Its just that the case analysts are more cautious than the officers and thus analyse things too deeply to just hold our files  But with some people there are some serious issues in review required. So if you haven't ordered your GCMS, you should, to see if there isn't any serious issue with your application.

And I don't think RPRF could delay an application. I saw someone got approved even without paying RPRF. RPRF can be paid after, if they don't ask before the approval.

Let's now hold on for a little more:)
Yep, hoping for the best! :) ordered GCMS notes last week

I spoke to an IRCC agent about RPRF. She told me paying it upfront or not won't actually delay the process. They're all processed based on the LVOs work load.

What all does not matters for ircc (as per data i got from people around)-
- paying upfront or not
- ordering gcms notes
- single applicant or not
- extensive travel history present or not

nothing really matters, only thing that matters is the docs we submitted are all appropriate and we're lucky enough that our file gets picked up by the officers at the visa offices.
no matter what we analyze and try to find some or the other algorithm behind the case processing, it just won't matter as it is going to change. So either we should be really lucky or we must have lot of patience.
Nonetheless, wait makes everyone anxious
:)
