Did you call IRCC or order GCMS notes?

Have you passed any BG checks?
Should I order GCMS notes one more time?

I ordered on 6th Feb and this is the status:

Primary office - CPC - Ottawa
Eligibility: Met
Medicals: Passed
Security and Criminality: Not started.

So you had passed eligibility before 6th

I won't order it because you have crossed the biggest hurdle and that's the eligibility.

The other 2 checks can be completed in 2 days. So you should probably expect good news soon.

You are on track.

In my case, file has been untouched.

As at the 14th of March, my status was
Eligibility - Passed
Criminality - Ongoing
Security - Not Started
I have 16 days left on my timeline with Visa Office Ottawa and AOR Oct 6th.
I really hope my PPR would come on or before April 6th. I hope the remaining days are enough

Congratulations!

There’s nothing you can do for now. Because you shd only contact them if there’s a change in your circumstances e.g marriage, divorce, death or child birth.change in health.

You can go ahead an inform them as it says in the ready for visa email. But you might not get a response in time. Your COPR is also valid till the expiry of your medical. This means you have to land before this date.
Thank you! So, should I submit passports for now and also inform them about it? And how to inform them? Through web form or by mailing them back on the visa office's email id?

I'm going to complete 5 months in 10 days and my file is still untouched.

I am also at Ottawa. This just sucks
Even I had no updates after medical passed until 5 months were completed.
Got an ADR on 13th March when my 6th month started.

You can do both. And yes, just submit your passports. Are you sure you don’t want to have your baby in Canada? Saves you the stress of having to get a visa and also your baby gets a passport immediately.

Well, the due date is in July 2019 and I don't think we will be settled enough in Canada to have the baby there. That is why, I want to add baby to our application as a dependent.

Not to diminish your complaints. I feel if you have the financial capacity to have your baby there, it might just be the best for you.

Think about the advantages, your baby gets a passport instead of PR.

Adding your child after the baby birth might delay your Visa more.

I have a family friend that landed with his pregnant wife, she gave and he left Canada back to Nigeria to get themselves together. They have gotten their PR, baby got her passport and life is easy.

To each his own though.
