My sponsor just received email from CPC Mississauga stating that my app will be processed at Mississauga. I don't know if it is good or bad, but at least it's a movement for me.

Still no Sponsor approval notification. No X-Mas miracles, not sure what's going on, App received on Oct 20th, AOR1 is on Dec 01 and silence since.

I understand that each case is unique, but not sure what to think, a bit of a worry.
Are they checking my previous sponsorship in 1996? But this is all clean, ex-wife and elder son are Canadian citizens long time ago. Not enough proof of intent to return to Canada? They could ask for additional information... Just Sponsor - "In process", PA - "Application received".

Interesting - they sent me (Sponsor) email with UCI number (short with 8 characters, not 10 as for PA), which was assigned to me back in 1993 during my original process of immigration to Canada - the one number for life...

guys I am so worried. I sent in my application for outland sponsorship Oct 28 and still I haven't heard anything from immigration. I have no idea what's going on

Application Sent: October 30, 2017
Application Received: November 3, 2017
UCI & Application Number Received (by email): December 27, 2017

I will try to link my application to my account tomorrow. What usually comes next after this?
Thanks everyone.

Medical request comes before sponsor approval?

Hello everyone,
I have a question, I am sponsoring my spouse and my son 6 month year old, do I have to fill the
IMM 1344 for my wife and my son or for my spouse only ??
Thanks for your help

Medical request comes before sponsor approval?
Not always! I don’t think anyone on this forum can confirm one way or the other, as some people get everything at once, others wait weeks or months between. For us medical came one day before SA. You can check the spreadsheet to get a better idea.

hello everyone I am writing this from my husband's account,
Recently I have received the sponsor approval and I was asked to apply for CSQ (i am a quebec resident). So, while i was doing #4 of the form A-0546-GF, I get really confused. The part was: "Information on family members of the principal sponsored person". where 4.1 was asking to put the information about the spouse of the principal applicant. So, in my case i am the sponsor (wife) and my husband is the principal applicant/principal sponsored person. So should I put my information there as i am the spouse of my husband? and there is a part saying "Is this person accompanying you to Québec? Yes No"--> here i already live in canada and i am not going to accompany him. So, my question is do they mean to put his (my husband's) sponsor's information there or do they mean if he (my husband) had any other spouse before who we applied for or something? I am really getting confused here. The same issue arrive while I was filling up #3 (3.1) of A-0520-BA form. Please help me with this. It will be greatly appreciated!

Hey there everyone! I am oct 27th applicant. Got Aor1 mid of December and submitted sch A, Pcc and medical this week.
The status shows decision made on the sponsor approval since before holidays but no email yet?? Anybody else experienced this?

Yes, we had the same. Took about a week to get the e-mail after ECAS was showing DM for sponsor, so I don’t think you should worry the e-mail will come :)

Any change on sponsor's ECAS since? I would imagine they are slowing down during holidays. According to spreadsheet NO ONE got SA since Dec.22, so hopefully they are simply delayed due to holiday, but nothing wrong on your part. Sending you good vibes!

Hmm it seems you have passed the 8 weeks waiting period (if your application was received on the 28th as well). If I was in your shoes I would call cic and see if the application had been returned. Did you provide an e-mail to be contacted on?
I am not saying it has been returned, but I would call and make sure. good luck !
I don't think that it was received by immigration on 28 as it was a Saturday but I have passed the 8 week waiting period. Do they email you to tell you that the application was returned? I did provide them with mine and my husband's email.

Hi Everyone,

I would like to get your input on the Form5562E for sponsoring my wife while I am currently PR in Canada. Do I as a spouse needs to enter the travel history between India(Country of origin) and Canada(Permanent Resident) in this form or I shall write N/A or didn't travel. Any quick help will be highly appreciated.

Actually i just realized its been more than a week. Maybe 15 days. Is it still normal?

Hi all, congrats on your various stages of application! Exciting! I have 2 queries. First off, I have still not received a medical request despite having received the request for Schedule A and police certificates a month ago. I have only just sent these off because I had to wait an age for Thailand to get its act together. Anyone else not had a medical request? Also can you put my mind at ease that Schedule A is only done by me (PA) not by my sponsoring spouse? Thanks !

Hmm I’m not sure to be honest how long it takes for some people. To put your mind at ease you can can CIC if you’re in Canada, number is on the IRCC website. If not, you can also fill out a webform or case specific inquiry and just explain your situation. And an otherwise minor thing, you’ve checked your spam folder and that you gave the correct sponsor email address in you application?
