My friend!!!! Congratulations for COPR and I am so sorry about your mom. For sure, she is happy for you and your family to be together soon. She shines as the most beautiful start in the sky.

A little bit late

I hope the best for you ❤️

Catherine

Hi Catherine,

Thank you hon, you are so sweet. Yes, my Mom is smiling down on me and is happy about my life in Canada. I am so glad that I made that trip back to California last Summer. I was able to have some special time with her.

Xoxo

My VO is Singapore too. :( Be patient and stay strong I guess.

The Singapore VO was listed as the second slowest VO when they had the processing times listed per VO :'(

Although from what I've been reading, this VO is slow due to interviews, not due to actual processing times. I'm hoping my case is straightforward enough and they don't require me to do an interview. Seems like people who are in the Singapore are hard to come by as well. Hopefully we can let each other know if any progress has been made.

Glad to see another person in the Singapore VO though!

I'm rooting for you, fellow SG VO. Let's hope for a straightforward case. I have been trying to stay positive but today my high spirit was dented when I found out someone had applied in Jan 2015 but still waiting... :( Sydney office no less ...

Awhhh....my sweet friend needhimback!! Thank you soo much for your kind words. I am doing okay, but I have my sad quiet moments. I know that my dear Mother is happy for me, proud of me and she will always be in my heart.

Yes, we were in this together from the start. You were always the October family's cheer leader. You kept us smiling everyday through this tough process. Thank you for your friendship, love & support. I miss you! You are always in my thoughts needhimback.

I am hoping to land next Saturday if the weather is nice. I want to spend the day at the Falls (my favorite place) and celebrate with a nice dinner.

I will post my landing experience.
Thanks again my friend!! Love ya!!
XOXO ❤

Check out the Settlement issues section of the forum. I saw a few posts about importing cars to Canada.
Here are a few:

It's been a while since I visited this family. My wife received email from CEM requesting this document PSA advisory on marriage(Philippine Statistics Authority)Cenomar. My wife got married in Philippines and got her divorced in Japan and we got married here in Canada, divorced cert and Canada marriage cert is already included in our application. Any idea why they need this document?

Hello,

Is there a August 2015 Outland Spousal Applicants thread? I didn't seem to find one between the July 2015 and October 2015 ones.

I have mailed my full application to Mississauga on August 25th 2015, it was received on August 27th 2015. But, the processing for me, as a sponsor started on Oct 9th 2015, and for my main applicant spouse, processing started on Oct 27th 2015, so they say. Maybe the October thread is where this belongs :)

I am really curious if others have this issue i am having: When i check my application status online, it says "Date Modified: 2015-12-15" ... does this mean they have not updated my processing for over 3 months? I thought they do it bi-weekly!?

Browsing on the forum here i noticed a 2015 Outland spreadsheet ... do i need to be an advanced user to insert myself in there?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

BTW we applied through Bucharest (Romanian) and man ... 17 months?!? 7 months is already unbearable! :'(

Hey there and welcome to the forums.

You'll find the August thread here: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/august-2015-outland-applications-t345039.0.html and since you filed in August that's where you 'belong'.

That date you're seeing is in reference to the webpage was updated, not your file. The webpage was changed probably to reflect the namechange from CIC to IRCC or something similair.

The admin of the spreadsheet locked it, and then went AWOL allowing us no way to enter new users or information, unfortunately.

17 months is a global average, and mostly bureaucratic bullshit so that as long as your file is within that time-frame they can ignore any request you make for why it's taking so long. Best of luck, hang in there!
