Hi ppl.hv a doubt.m newbie here...my ecas status in sponsorship application s still application received..pr status s in process..but I have not receive my SA..clear my doubts

i applied to sponsor my husband roughly 6 months ago; got "in process" 2& a half so months ago on - now, just still waiting for DM
according to the pattern of recent cases, people are getting DMs after roughly 2 oor 3 months at most with the COMPLETE APPS done in 9-11 months!

btw, my husband's in pakistan ik this forum corresponds to outlands all across the globe so idk how relevant my post'l be or be relatable

god bless y'all. hope i can find can/pak people in the same boat so we could connect.

Yes, he is in the USA. We applied outland and I guess got very very lucky.


I got caught up on reading the posts on this thread and I just wanted to share a bit of my experience for anyone who's been having concerns:

- we sent in our FBI forms with the application. I don't know why they'd say to wait until they are requested from the VO... weird.

- for those of you waiting for AOR1...we received it at about 60-62 days and then got SA about a week later.

- we NEVER received AOR2, so I wouldn't be too concerned if you don't receive it. It might go straight to DM.

- my sponsor application still says In Process whereas the applicant is Decision Made. No idea why that is but in case anyone is concerned that it isn't changed, I guess it doesn't affect the process whatsoever.

The same thing happened to me! I just checked our status and the sponsor application says in Process while the PR Application says Decision Made. Did you get the paper work already?

I finally have "medical results received" on my ECAS. It is my 4th line because the 3rd line is for when they sent me correspondance requesting the Statutory Declaration of Common Law on Feb 20th.

I am hoping for DM soon. At least the process is moving along. My application was at Ottawa VO since Dec 16 and I hadn't had any updates on ECAS for 2 months. I was pretty worried during that time. It's good to know that it's being worked on.

How is your process going?

YAY!!! I had just checked yesterday and it said "Medical results received".

I am so thrilled and hopefully it's a good decision. LOL

Super quick intro:
I am Can, hubby is Am.
Our app was received Aug 21
Started processing Sponsorship Oct. 1
Letter from CIC stating I meet sponsorship eligibility, case forwarded for further processing to CPC Ottawa
Started processing the PR app Nov 19

Both of us were asked for additional documents and info, which of course were sent right away.

I finally checked yesterday (I had stopped checking eCAS as it was frustrating not seeing any change!) and the PR status changed to DM.
Of course I was really excited, but now a bit worried that my status as Sponsor still says In Progress.
They update eCAS Tuesdays, so it's almost been a week of DM - and nothing in the mail or email (all other correspondence from CIC has been PDF in email).

It's messing with our minds that there's a decision but we can't get any info!!

Anyway - looking forward to connecting on this site. Thanks

Don't worry. Mine did the same. Got COPR in the mail 8 days after DM. Still said in process when it said DM.
