From your timeline, I see you applied in October and got your PCC in december. PCC validity is measured against when your application was submitted and it is clear that since you got in December, your pcc is no more than 2 months from your application date, you should be fine.

Here's what I suggest. Send an email to Ottawa (since you got the email from Ottawa), stating that you've sent the PCC, attach proof of receipt at CIC.

On a side note, it looks like you sent the PCC before CIC asked. It is always good with immigration to follow instructions no matter how anxious you are - this way, if something goes wrong, you can show that you did all that was asked of you. Did you send the PCC to Sydney ? I see now that Ottawa is asking for it as it appears your file is actually in Ottawa. That's why it's always good to just wait for the correspondence that tells you the address to send it to. Overall, I think an email should solve your issue.
I sent it before cause if i had waited for them to ask me the pcc would be expired already, rhat time my file was still im sydney. The date on my pcc is november 26 and they got my mail around april 3. I know i can get my pcc online...and on the cic website when i check my country says "check the police website for instructions in how to apply online". So ill do that and send it to my consulate for them to validate the papers and pray that this will be enough.

Guys can we share the name our officer here? It's not against the forum regulations?

I think we're privy to only their initials. Mine is SM. Maybe we have the same officer. IP date = July 20th. Wiating

well i dont know what difference will that make, its just nothing in our hand other than to wait i guess.
just hope that he remembers that he has some files, IP since long and have had enough test of our patience.
i seriously don't understand the way cic works, Nov has already had one DM applicant while Oct are majority in limbo of where about

You are right, only their initials. But we can still figure out if we have the same officer assigned to us or not.
Mine is JB 13423.

I thought maybe we can find out if the files assigned to specific officers are being processed or not.
