October 2014 PNP CIC Applicants

Withdrawing the passport will take time or will delay unnecessarily. Why cant you ask the same consulate to stamp for PR and raise cse or email them with detail. If they have already processed and stamped for work permit then it doesnt matter as you wont use it and they might stamp another one for PR.

I just spoke to VFS which is managing the passport collection here. They said withdrawing the application will get my passports back in 2 days. My passports are with them for last 2 months and communicating with them has been difficult as it is only one sided with me. I have sent a mail to Ottawa regarding the same doubt but they haven't replied back yet. The local high commission office is a pain, no way to communicate except for email and they have not been replying till now.

The thread is for the CEC applicant not for the PNP. Why i am saying bcoz PNP applicant goes through different process, I was told by my lawyer , if you are a PNP inland applicant and if you move out of country(other thab short duration) they do consider you are not required in province and it severely impact your application but in case of CEC they can request the file transfer if they move out....

So be very careful and try to take legal opinion...

Not sure about that. But the thing is that I have got 2 PPR request now. Original Request was to submit PP to Ottawa. I mailed them regarding my situation and I got another PPR request from home country visa office. SO I think they won't transfer the file in my case, but they would just request the Visa office to stamp the visa.

No DM update on Ecas

RPRF request: June 24, 2015

MPNP Inland applicant

ECAS still showing application received on October 27, 2014. Please suggest me something here. Is this normal?

I called the call centre today. They said my application is in "Background check" stage and its in Ottawa. Do any of you have any experience with what this means, the call centre agent wouldn't elaborate.

We have the same application date. Ecas only shows application received? No medicals? I would call CIC if I were you.

Today I was contacted twice by an officer asking for more information. They first asked for my educational/work history and my plans for the future, and then contacted me again to ask for some clarification.
Well at least I know they are actually processing my file now.
