It seems that most people who get IP have their PPR a few days or weeks later.
Is there anyone else with just an IP over a month ago and still no news of DM or PPR?

My application has been In Process since June 19!! It's been over a month and no further correspondence or status change :(
I am not surprised though ... seems like this whole PR process in completely non-linear and random

Hello guys,

I'm new to this forum. I just have a quick question.
I'm October 2014 applicants, inland. I got email for RPRF request last week, I paid online by my credit card and emailed receipt on the same day.
However, CIC did not take money from my credit card. It's been a week now. I called call center and they told me "should be fine", because my payment is approved and I got official receipt. I'm still worried.

Does anyone have similar experience or heard anything about it?
Please help me!! I'm worried CIC will delay my application because they think I did not pay.

Is there any other Oct 20 applicant that has not received PPR yet?

Just wondering. I am on Oct 20 applicant, same with my friend, she received DM today; received PPR last Monday. - I dont have any of these yet.

Yes- I believe there are several. I'm Oct 16th, just transitioned to IP this week. In general, most October applicants are between " in process" and PPR. the stage differs from application to application but October applicants are still being actively processed.

Received PPR today at around 7:30 PM MT.
My e-cas still says application received though. :)

update: DM today few hours ago.... ;)

congratulation guys from PPR in last few days

They did not ask for additional documents. Just an email woth three steps;
1.) inform them of any change of status (i.e., married, divorced, having a baby)
2.) passport request
3.) where and how to send the passport, leave two blank passport pages for it.

Is this what everyone who got PPR also got?
I'm october 20 applicant and paid RRPF upfront. Still says application received on my ecas. :)

Hi all,
I am an October10 Applicant.ECAS status is still Medical results have been received.
No RPRF OR Additional doc request.
I did not pay upfront RPRF and they did not ask me either.
I submitted Police Clearance from my home country and RCMP Finger print together with my application. So I was not worried that I did not get any additional document request. But no RPRF and no ECAS update ?
From the forum I can see every October applicants got some movement after medical request.
CIC Call center agent told me my file is in processing at Ottawa. Please guide me.
your all advices are appreciated.

I am an applicant on October 27th. E-case shows still received.Medical exam is no updated. Medical exam is done in April. I paid RPRF on June 24th.
My address in E-case is seperated to two boxes, home and mailing address. It was only one before.
Do you know what it means?

My country has Visa waiver program with Canada.
My friends' family already got landing Paper. One is October 12th, the other is October 17th. They all got permanent residency.

You should get your PPR soon. Check your spam folder also. When two boxes for address come it is almost the last step as per my observation but i am not sure.

Under normal circumstances, files are processed in Sydney, NS until ready for PPR. In some cases where the case processing officer judges that for some reason, the decision on your file needs to be taken by a higher authority, there's an early transfer to Ottawa for processing and consequently decision-making. Now is it bad...in that, will this cause delay ?? NOT ALWAYS. In some cases your PPR speeds up if transferred early to Ottawa - this can be the case where the higher officer in Ottawa reviews your file and deems it NOT to be complicated as the original officer had judged. In this case, I have seen where people go straight from "medical received" to DM or PPR. Ottawa seems to skip the whole IP step. In other cases, where the higher reviewing officer concurs with the Sydney Case officer that the case is indeed more complicated, more checks will be issued and this will result in delay. The delay can range from minor (a few weeks) to a year.

I know people say if your file is in Ottawa = delay (NOT always)...all you need to do is to review the evidence on this forum. Also it doesn't always speed up your application (even though it does in some cases). Look at it as an unknown variable
