What is CPR? Breaking this down will help answer your question.Agricola said:Hi
I'm October applicant (20.10)
24. June RPRF (paid the same day),
14. July schedule A
and now my ECAS status is still AplicationRecived (no IP, no DM :'( )
I'm from visa-exempt country. I've sent copy of my biodata passport with my application in October. (Inland applicant)
... so now I'm waiting for what ???? PPR (i dont think so), change of ECAS status, CPR ??? (CPR is sent by regular mail o email?)
Guys please let me know your views..NewtoPR said:PNP AINP applicant : 3rd Nov.
got a email for cic sydney requesting additional document related to dob which i already provided. But they need more information on it so requesting school record showing dob , name, parents name.
Along with that email reminder section : requesting for RPRF and passport (only copy ) , is that mean passport requested ? not sure...please suggest
Part of email :
IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
- RIGHT OF PERMANENT RESIDENT FEE (RPRF): The Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) must be paid before a permanent resident visa can be issued. If you have not done so already, we encourage you to do so as soon as possible. Please refer to this site for the steps on how to pay the fees: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/result.asp?countrySelect=AR&lob=rprf
- PASSPORTS : Passports for you and all accompanying family members must be valid at the time of visa issuance. If your passports have expired or will be expiring within the next 6 months, you must apply for new passports as soon as possible and provide us with a copy of the passports at your earliest convenience. Do not submit the original passports until CIC requests them.
Status showing IP now ,but can some one please guide as per above did they also requested passport ? it says copy , so i am bit confused.
please guide friends
It all says here ". If your passports have expired or will be expiring within the next 6 months, you must apply for new passports as soon as possible and provide us with a copy of the passports at your earliest convenience. Do not submit the original passports until CIC requests them"NewtoPR said:Guys please let me know your views..

Furthermore, I think your situation isn't out -of-timeline (at least not yet). CIC is processing Oct batch (till around Nov 3rd). Applications within the Oct batch are (1) being handled by different case officers (mine, for example has initials of SM - from July 13th PCC and Shedula A request), the case officers operate at different speeds but in general , for most october applicants, a case processing officer has been assigned - that's why you got a request for additional doc on July 14th (and my guess is...it tells you to address requested docs to a specific case agent). What this really tells you is that your IP date is right around July 14th - whether or not ECAS updates or not. I have gathered from evidence on this site that ECAS is a notoriously lagging indicator . Also a specific case officer could take some time off within the batch - your file isn't re-assigned ..he/ she comes back and continues from where he/ she stops. So there's is a range of error or lag in time within which there's little cause for alarm. Of course it is best if things are moving smoothly. Lastly , look back two pages - there are people that went from "Application received straight to DM& PPR" or IP was after PPR - this was an Oct 20th applicant. You could make up for the progress by skipping a step - morale of the story..ECAS is a directional BUT not accurate indicator. Use it with other info. The doc request you got less than 10 days ago is a strong indication you're in process
No.... I did not pay upfront and they did not ask me either.tenkrun10 said:Have you paid RPRF?
