Thanks , Could you please share the writeup link, as it was told to me by an immigration lawyer.

I would search for it and give you. It's been time since I read about it. You can ask your lawyer, he will mention that you can travel as you have him as your representative.

Don't worry buddy. If your name has some issues as per their criminal record procedures they will ask for RCMP fingerprinting. I have been asked because my passport has the Surname field as Blank. So when they check across their database they find a lot of people who have their surname as blank, so just to make sure that I am not having a criminal background they request to RCMP for doing a fingerprint check to be on the safe side.

So if you have your name and surname in order in your passport there shouldn't be an issue. In case they ask and even if you are out of the country, you can do RCMP fingerprinting from current country. RCMP directly sends the results to CIC if you need.

Providing Canadian police certificates are not required. It is mentioned in all the documents. RCMP fingerprinting is a special requirement for special people :)

Ok, thanks :-)

This is, unfortunately, true. As a native born American I have native English, and not just any English, but a form of North American English. I had to take the IELTS test. It was hilarious, a waste of time and money, and well... Shows how immigration is just a bunch of crazy rules sometimes.

WHAT DO YOU THINK GUYS PLEASE HELP

I sent my application to Sydney as well. Got my medical request from Sydney . but got my RPRF request from Ottawa. So I guess at one point the file has to go to Ottawa. And I would advise you to update your timeline in your profile. So that someone who has more experience can help you out. Are you an inland applicant?

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp
If you order GCMS notes you can find out whats really going on with your file.
Good luck
