October 2014 PNP CIC Applicants

What If your employer said that I can't fill your compliance form. And your file is in cic under Province nominee program, waiting for file number and at the same time your work permit going to expire soon in one month then? Then how to get new work permit?

Its very confusing.

Please reply on this someone because most of people going to face same situation soon. who are nominated by provinces but after nomination while waiting for file number there employer said No to new employer compliance form.

Desperate situation!!

Nothing can't be done, as CIC has clearly mentioned that they are going to reject if they dn't have the compliance form. I think if you don't have a file number you can't even apply for an open work permit.

Got Medical request on April 3 . Booked appointment for tests on April 28th. Is that ok or I need to to change it? Please suggest. In the IMM form CIC mentioned that they need to receive the medical results in 30 days.

I think it should be fine. I have appointment for 16th. So it should take around a week for them to receive.

Dear Folks, I have a question. A friend of mine is a OP Nominee - Masters graduate stream without a job offer. She went back to home country and came here as a Visitor, she is not having a WP. November applicant, and waiting for AOR. Is she eligible to apply for an Open Work Permit at once she receives her AOR? If she applies by paper how long will it take approximately? Since it is not an extention of WP and a new one will she get it soon?

And they have mentioned that we need to undergo a medical test within 30 days and not receive medical results in 30 days. So relax.

I think she can apply for OWP once she gets her AOR. It takes around 60 Days for WP right now!!

Did you call CIC yet, any advice on if this is possible to link your medical?

I have the same question. Will have to wait until Tuesday to talk to cic. One of the agent said I can link but have to find out how
