Hi marianne, since you apply also inside canada. May I ask if you include a PCC from here because I am so worried I didnt get and submitt any PCC that comes from canada but I include my PCC backhome. Is it needed the PCC from here. Thanks

What status will be showed on CIC after I am done with Medical Examination? I've done with the ME for a couple days, but my status is still " Application Received" ::) ::)

Hello,

I'm not sure what a PCC is, I'm assuming you mean police clearance certificate? If so, yes I have submitted an NBI clearance from back home in the Philippines (must be valid 6 months prior to application), as well as a fingerprint from the RCMP in Canada. According to my consultant, I have to submit both. :)

I'm basing this on my brother's ecas when he applied under AINP in 2014; But the next thing that said after "Application Received" was "We have begun processing your application on August xx, 2014", which was 4 months after he had done his medical. He became a PR on December 2014.

Hello!

Got my medical request! :) I just wanted to ask anyone who received a medical request;

Does yours say "must complete this medical within 30 days of receiving this letter".?

I'm just worried about not being able to book an appointment on time because last year, it took my brother a month to get booked for a medical here in Edmonton, AB.

Anyone?
Yes it says to complete it within 30 days. Try the medi-centre in century Park. They are quick.

Hi kkiiuu.. after medical cic will ask you to pay rprf if you haven't paid yet. then if everything is complete and they do not need any documents from you, they will ask you to submit your passport. goodluck!

I see. Just be clear, "We have begun processing your application on August xx, 2014" is that equivalent to " In Progress" or "IP" status.

Yes, it was under "In Process". I meant that when you click it, there are numbered updates 1, 2, 3 & 4. Number 2 was that "We begun processing your application.." I will try to post the complete timeline here later so we all get an idea what's going on next. :)

Hello,

Id like to share the timeline of my brother's application last year, 2014.

Category: AINP - Strategic Recruitment Stream, International Graduate Category

AINP Nomination: January 17, 2014
PR Application Sent: Jan. 29, 2014
AOR: February, 2014
Received Medical Request: March 10, 2014
Medical Done: April 15, 2014
E-medical mailed to CIC: April 23, 2014

4 Months Later..

Payment Request for RPRF: August 6, 2014
Passport Request: November 17, 2014
Received Confirmation of PR: December 12, 2014
Service Canada Appointment (instead of crossing border): December 16, 2014

All in all from nomination, it took approximately 1 year. Again, this was 2014.

Here are the updates from e-cas for the duration of the process:
1.) We received your application for permanent residence on Feb. 3, 2014.
2.) We started processing your application on August 6, 2014.
(I find this odd because they requested for the RPRF as well on the same day.)
3.) Medical results have been received.
4.) A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Hope this helps give us an estimate of ours somehow! :)

Have a goodnight! Hope this week gives good news for everyone, whichever step they are in.

1 - email
2 - No way to check online. You can call CIC they may have some info but generally no

What If your employer said that I can't fill your compliance form. And your file is in cic under Province nominee program, waiting for file number and at the same time your work permit going to expire soon in one month then? Then how to get new work permit?

Its very confusing.

Please reply on this someone because most of people going to face same situation soon. who are nominated by provinces but after nomination while waiting for file number there employer said No to new employer compliance form.

Desperate situation!!
