Hi Marianne ;D the problem is that to apply for an Bridging Open Work Permit you need the AOR which I really don't have. that's why I am frustrating right now. IF ANYONE HAS APPLY FOR AN BRIDGE OPEN WORK PERMIT PLEASE TELL EVERYONE HOW HAVE YOU DONE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Well hopefully they do really hurry. Cause most of you guys still have time, its easier for most og you than someone like me. my nomination expires this coming Saturday & my permit in 4 weeks from now, even know they did received my application back on October the 31st. its frustrating guys!

why didnt you apply for a bowp yet? U can use just your nomination for that!!!

HI nata_cap do you know anyone who has applied & get it with just the nomination ¿¿¿ reason I ask is because when I searched in the requirements it clearly says that you need your AOR.

Hi every one..
i am in a dilemma...I got my AOR recently.I would like to apply for my BOWP as my PGWP is about to expire on august,2015.So
1.)Should i apply my BOWP on line.??
2.)Or should i flag poll at the border(i.e airport) by showing my AOR??

Please advice and many thanks in advance...

cic receive my application nov.12. My wp expires on april 18 as well as my pnp certificate.both on the same day. i apply for BOWP last march 15. but i havent got my aor. i just put an explanation letter. and hopefully by the time they process my work permit i already got my aor. they said aor is not thet needed coz we got our client id. and if they check it in the system they will see that u got aor /1st stage approval. its 57 days processing on WP now. so im looking at may 15th. i just save time. hopefully everything will be ok by then.

Hello, my husband's applied for BOWP last november 19th, (without AOR, only AINP certificate + a job offer), he received his new work permit on Jan.19th. valid for 2 years, but his new work permit is restricted to the Province (Alberta) and also it's restricted to the same occupation. Now, he can work for any employer (maybe because he applied as self nominee - AWE)

Congratulations!! radhe123 hopefully sometime this week am next mine reach on the 31. If anyone apply & received their BOWP please share with as much details as possible how long did it took you to received it. Also what papers did you submit that ll be highly appreciated ;D

I applied for BOWP before but I pull it out because CIC agent advised me that it will not be approved because I don't have AOR yet. - instead I applied for a closed WP.
