October 2014 PNP CIC Applicants

Hi all,

I need your help on this issue :

we have received our AOR on 24 march now we are waiting for medical request.

my problem is that my husbands passport is expiring this October and we have to renew it now and it will take 9 weeks to get a new passport.

my question are

- how long it will take to get a medical request after AOR and how much time we get to get our medicals done ?
- how much time we are given to submit after the passport request ?

so I can figure out when should I send my passport for renewal .

You will get your medical requests within 1-2 weeks after receiving your AOR.Once they send MR you get 30 day to get your test done.I am not sure about passport request as I haven't get mine yet but am guessing it should be some around min 2 weeks to 4 weeks

Hi Guys
I received my my file was received on Dec 12 2014 by CIO. But since then I have heard nothing about my file from Immigration my work permit is going expire in 3 months. I applied my file under Provincial nominees for permanent residence. I just don't understand why they are not my file number even though they I have received my file for immigration. I am pretty upset. I got my nomination from Manitoba in Oct. I applied for permanent residence in Dec. Please share some info why they are taking so long to even giving file number.

Hey even though the things have pick up some speed, its still not reached it original velocity yet. However, since you work permit is expiring I would suggest to apply for the BOWP. Since you a provincial nominee you are eligible to apply for a extension without a AOR number. Read this bulletin for more info.

PNP application received on Oct 17, 2014 and still dont have AOR, Oct 20 21 22 23 received theirs already. There is even worst than your case coz yours was in December.

I am a MPNP PR applicant, my documents arrived at CIC-Sydney on 16 October, 2014 . I haven't received AOR till now. .....

Don't worry I sent application on October 28 and received on November 4, 2014... waiting for AOR and expect that it will be no longer than first week of April if they continue with the speed they shown in last two days but it was observed in past that they worked fast for three to four days and again they will move to idle mode.. Lol

Anyways hope that CIC will not be in idle mode untill they dont release aor to all the pending application at their end make sure all the particular visa office to issue visa in just one to two months from the date they issue aor...

Guys i have a serious question , not sure is it the right place to ask.

I was working as QA lead from last 1 year and now i am laid off ,so planning to apply for employee insurance and my SIN number start with 9.
So my question , if i claim EI will it goes against my PR process as i heard everything is linked ...
Thought came because government won't be happy to pay a temporary worker through EI and can they see it as a threat ?

Please guide /suggest should i apply or not ?

I'm waiting AOR now. But i dont know when CIC got my file exactly.

Yup i'm chinese .
