Hey Guys, I received an email from CPP-O today (Mar 25th, 2015) asking me for additional doc:

Schedule A: Please provide a separate, newly completed and updated Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature which contains no gaps in your Personal History (Q. 8) or list of Addresses (Q. 12)

I am not sure what happens, but I think this is very strange. Why would they ask additional doc after asking me pay the RPRF on Feb 5th, 2015? Can you please advise.

(1) BC-PNP nominated on Feb, 2014.

Oh hello,

Dont worry, that is normal to be asked for another background declaration since it may have been quite a while since your original submission. I have. Been requested as well and so some of my friends.

I want to say Im happy for u guys, but I am very transparent, I feel angry and frustrated. My application was received by CIC on Oct 17, 2014 and still dont have AOR, I dont understand how 20, 21, 22, 23 comes first before 17???? CIC is just a mess.

I am sure there is more than one person working on them. I am sure they put a pile of applications on each person's desk and that person works on their pile as they come. Most likely yours ended up being sent to a different person than the people who got AOR to look at and they may not be as fast as other workers or have taken a few days off. I am sure that your is not far behind. The fact that people who sent their applications around the same time as you should make you hopeful that your AOR will come very soon.

I agree , you should be getting yours anytime now. People are generally getting Aors around the same time....there's some lag of just a few days for reasons like number of dependents, your mode of payment. Do you have dependents?

I hope so! its frustrating you know. Its only me and my husband in the application and we are both in Canada. I paid online, it was directly so I dont think there's an issue in there. Well, there's nothing much I can do about it than to wish CIC to do their job better

They received my application Oct. 15 and I got my AOR March 24. Before I got my AOR there were people who submitted Oct. 17 onwards who seemed to be getting AOR's by order. I thought they skipped mine but eventually they gave me my AOR on March 24. Although it seems like everyone is getting theirs by order, there are still some that are still waiting.. I hope you get yours soon because I understand the frustration of waiting and not knowing what's going on.. Hang in there!

Hi all,

I need your help on this issue :

we have received our AOR on 24 march now we are waiting for medical request.

my problem is that my husbands passport is expiring this October and we have to renew it now and it will take 9 weeks to get a new passport.

my question are

- how long it will take to get a medical request after AOR and how much time we get to get our medicals done ?
- how much time we are given to submit after the passport request ?

so I can figure out when should I send my passport for renewal .
