The UCI is an 8-digit code that you can also find in your previous work/study permits. The application no. is the one with 2 letters in the beginning. When my brother applied last year he used the application # in the e-cas to track his application's progress. For some reason the UCI is not effective for the e-cas. At least for us.mipi said:

Have you got a medical request already?I was able to get into ECAS (yesterday - Tuesday. I got AOR last Thursday.
