October 2014 PNP CIC Applicants

Folks another person with application on October 6th got AOR today. The user name is diliprathore on the sept2016 forum. On account of the evidence, they are definitely opening October 6th files.

A few things are now clear....it is obvious that files are not being processed sequentially. I think with EE , CIC has deployed a specific strategy to clear applications in the old pipeline. Here's what I have observed.

1 - Priority given to CEC and FSW clearance up to the point of Cap. All CEC applications were counted and any CEC application after October 23rd was returned back (i got this from the CEC forum). They are processing and giving out AORs to October CEC peeps and are almost done. The cut off date is October 20th. People with applications between October 21st, 22nd, 23rd have yet to have their filed returned or their CC charged. It makes sense that they want to clear the Cap based programs..this way , those that did not meet the cap will get their app back and focus on EE. For PNP, once your app is submitted after nomination and before expiration of nomination certificate there's no cap. Maybe that's why they placed PNP on lower priority in the meantime. They should have reached Oct 20th for CEC by friday. Ive been following...meaning that stream has been fully processed.

2- the PNP applicants seem to be processed sequentially but within the month or within a predefined pile. So OCtober 6th, Sept 6th, Nov 6th can get AOR around the same time (if within month sequence). For pile sequence, Or one team is processing OPNP to sept 17th, Another team starts from October 6th - November 6th pile, Another team starts from Sept 17th - October 5th pile. In other words, the sequential nature is within the processing pile. I have observed this with the OPNP applicants and now seemingly other PNPs. That's why someone from Sept 19th has not received AOR while two people from October 6th got AOR today. Won't be shocked if people from October 7th get AOR tomm

Excellent observations. Please keep us posted about more trends that you could understand. OPNP applicant (without job offer) are at the bottom of their priority list.

Guys...they have assigned piles of apps for processing see the above analysis from yesterday (especially the bold version). What this means is that generally there is only sequence based on our the pending files are categorized. One category definately starts from October 6th files and another is Sept 16th , 17th - Oct 5thish. Different teams are processing the different categories or piles. i'm October 16th...hope eternal

I need help . I have employer resticted work permit which is going to expire in May 2015. I was wondering to know if um eligible to apply for Open work permit after my AOR?
According to current work permit I have to work under specific employer at a specific location only . It was contract based work permit for two years , which i have completed successfully . Any suggestion please .

last October 2 2014, and my tracking number says it got in the CIC office last October 10, but untill now there's no update of my application yet, would you be able to let me know if you'll get your file number soon,? I'll appreciate it a lot thanks ;D...

No PNP applicant has received AOR beyond a receipts date of Oct 7th. Everyone has been affected by the delay

My application reached Sydney,NS on 28 of August and I have not heard anything from processing center yet.
