October 2014 PNP CIC Applicants

I believe that's the same case with my docs. They've probably yet to be placed in my file. I resent to the schedule A this time ATTN: SM (Case Processing Agent)

The instruction this time asked that documents be "attentioned" to the CSO with initials SM. Hopefully we progress to IP within the week

I'm kinda worried about my application. Received by CIO October 14, 2014. No updates yet. My friend got an email from CPC-Ottawa requesting her to submit police certificate from the Philippines. I don't know if having no updates is a good thing or not. Since I'm assuming that they are working on October 16 applicants already.

I received and e-mail from CPC regarding my WP. They have refused my WP. My WP and my Visa got expired by May. I applied for my work permit on papers on April 17th and I applied online for my TRV in May. The e-mail says that my status expires today (July 13th) and I may wish to apply to restore my status. But I have applied for it already. Am I on the safe side? Or should I leave? I was thinking about leaving for now but I am processing my application within Canada, I guess if I leave it may make a negative impact on my application, Am I right? So, should I call myself on Implied status and wait for my TRV?

I am PNP from Ontario, Nov 13th applicant, RPRF paid.

Its very unlikely to get refused for a work permit when you have an active PR application on process . what reasons did they give?

My opinion is that you do not need to worry (at least not yet). On evidence gathered from this forum, files are being processed in batches rather than purely chronologically. "Fzlhmt" just got IP. He/ she is an oct 20th applicant. "ashrafgk" just received additional request for documents. He / she is an Oct 30th applicant. It possible that applicants from OCT 12th - 30th are being processed right now. I am oct 16th and I know my file is being reviewed by a case officer. In your case, if all documents are intact, wait for IP sometime this week. They only contacted me because I needed to update my docs.

I was on a fellowship contract and the contract ended by May they have quoted that as a reason. If I leave my TRV application becomes invalid and it will affect my PR application. I thought I would get an BOWP or OWP but I didn't, now I don't know what to do.

Me and my friend have the same date of application received. She got an update last week. Then today, I see October 16 applicants being processed.
