Application received CIC Oct 27th and just got AOR (March 12th)! I'm OPNP. Good luck everyone

Congrats!. The dates are now getting out whack though. It was steady , first-in-first processed till October 10th, then October 30th and then October 27th. You are lucky, double congrats. I'm October 16th...so close, yet so far

you are very unlucky man........first they return your application without any reason if they didn't find your Birth certificate in your PR Application they could ask you by e-mail or can call you as you provide them a cellular number in your application...........i would like slap this officer who return your application........sorry for bad word....but i know its very hard to keep patience ...... .i saw that some applicants got AOR until 14 oct.2014. then CIO start to giving AOR from 30 oct.2014.
hope you will get your AOR in few days..........when you got your AOR hope after everything will be fine with your application.......wish you good luck my friend....!!!

hi... just wanna ask if your file no. has 3letters in the beggining? coz i phoned cic and they give me my file no. but i dont know if its the same thing...they give me 3letters with the 8numbers..thank you.

Which province has nominated you for PR ? And when your Application Received by CIO, NS, Sydney ? and Which DAY have you got your AOR from CIC ?
I m a BC PNP PR Applicants.
My file reached on 1dec.2014 at CIO,NS,Sydney
i m still waiting ? hopefully in end of April or in MAY 2015.....!!!

hi..im bc pnp too..i submitted last nov 12..i havent got my aor..i just phoned cic coz i need to renew my wp..and i think i'll be needing my aor..they just give me my no. so i donnu if thats the same thing.. coz i am applying for bowp.

please can you give that number to ask about my FILE NUMBER ?
i also want to apply BOWP and my BC PNP PR file reached to CIO,NS, Sydney on 01Dec.2014.
Could there have any possibility to get AOR for WORK PERMIT to Extend ?
and IN my BC PNP letter has written .....Employment restriction : NO
but has witten restaurant name and my job NOC and name............could we get BOWP ?

its just the same hotline... 1888 2422100...and just connect to wp application.. i asked them..and they said just attached my pnp certificate and explanation letter..but im still not sure if they will approve my bowp with that..i think it is best if we put the aor..coz it means that we got the first stage approval. thats y i am really not sure if i will gonna renew for bowp or just the regular one.. my permit will expire on april 18.. so i should decide real soon.

if you want regular one (Closed Work Permit) you can go to border. there is much easier to get work permit. what if you want BOWP you must apply ONLINE or PAPER Application to CIC.....!!
my work permit will expire on 30 May2015. First i will try to get BOWP.....if they refused than i will apply for closed work permit.

u should apply now so you still have time if they refused u...i cannot try anymore..coz if they refuse me my permit is expired by then i should be under restoration...

Me and my Spouse's temporary residence visa and Open work permit are going to expire in next three months. My Spouse is on a dependent Open Work permit. I have following questions in this regard
a) Can we both apply for Bridge work permit together? or Only I can apply, since i am a primary applicant for PR and the AOR i received has my name only. However, I have filed my Spouse as a dependent in my OPNP CIC application
b) Approximately how much time does it take to get a bridge work permit?
c) Do we need to apply for Temporary Visa extension separately? (Since both work permit and Visa expires in next three months)
