October 2014 PNP CIC Applicants

october 20th applicant
Recieved my passport request today..
no decision made ...direct ppr from in process....

Hey guys, I'm Oct 23 applicant. Today, I received an email from CIC, titled "Ready for Visa". However, my ECAS showing only "Medical Received". No IP or DM.

I'm just wondering if this is the letter for PPR? If that's the case, then skipping IP and DM, directly to PPR?

The letter is like:

"Dear.....

The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete....

STEP 1: CHANGES IN YOUR APPLICATION....

STEP 2: PASSPORTS....

STEP 3: SUBMITTING DOCUMENTS FROM CANADA OR THE US......"


Should I send out the passport then?

My representative sent my passport on 12 AUg. I want it back to my mailing address, not at address mentioned by my representative.how can I do that??

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

i think u cant as u have agent. if u authorized
him then he will get it. unless u cancel his authorization
by doing some paper work . u have to send some form
to cic for that. it is too late for u to do this now as
your passport sent by12 aug. get some more opinion
here before do anything. good luck.

If I call them, ask them to send it back at my current mailing address.

I understand your worries. Do you have idea whats the cause of delay for your application. I mean - do you have dependent; or your papers is a bit complicated? or anything? Your Sept 26, applicant I believe.

It is not so easy, specially if we can't phone CIC to check whats going on because our application has not passed the processing time yet - which is 16 months. In your case will be on January 2016.

Just wondering. - wish everyone Good luck!

They updated the times. Ottawa is now 15 months.

After flag poling and everything... Do you need to apply for pr card ?
And you have to go to CRA with CoPR and thats it?

Yes I have my spouse with my application
I order a gcms note where say my file location is PS
And eligibility review required

So no idea what happen

Anybody who got direct DM without PPR. How long it takes to get PPR email? And is it a good sign ?
