Quoting from another members (RYIT) post about the update in processing time for various visa offices. If your visa office is not in the list that means there hasn't been any change.

"Accra-Ghana has increased from 14 to 16 months

Ankara-Turkey has increased from 10 months to 11 months

Beijing-China has increased from 9 to 10 months

Beirut-Lebanon has decreased from 18 to 16 months

Bucharest-Romania has increased from 16 to 17 months

Cairo-Egypt has decreased from 20 to 18 months

Colombo-Sri Lanka has decreased from 13 to 10 months

Hong Kong-China has increased from 9 to 10 months

Kingston-Jamaica has decreased from 25 to 23 months

Mexico decreased from 18 to 17 months

Nairobi-Kenya decreased from 27 to 22 months

Ottawa increased from 15 to 16 months

Pretoria-South Africa decreased from 19 to 15 months

Sao Paulo-Brazil decreased from 8 to 5 months

Singapore decreased from 30 to 28 months

Vienna-Austria decreased from 17 to 16 months

Warsaw-Poland increased from 9 months to 12 months

You can order by CC. Follow this link:

The principal applicant will need to sign the consent form in order for the sponsor to apply for the notes on his/her behalf:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/form-imm5744.asp

Fill out the consent form with the applicant's info, print it and have him/her sign it and then scan it and upload it. Pay the fee and your done. If you have anymore questions just ask.

Waiting period for New York was 0 because it is not on the list and now its back the waiting period is 35 months...I am wondering of they laid people off and have to rehire them?????...lol...and I don't think its Ottawa that should be embarrassed, they are staying within their guidelines...I think its the workers that should be embarrassed....My comp at work will not even let me set up a follow up for anything over 30 days on my files because its just not acceptable...10, 11, 12 months for a followup is acceptable with CIC..
