Hiya LaLa320 and Coni!! Thanks for telling me your side of things. It's a relief to know you guys are where I'm at. I have a couple questions for you both though;

LaLa320, where are you able to see the notes they made on your relationship?

Coni, what is the RFPF? I can't keep up with all the abbreviations lol.

Thank you both for the comfort and motivating words! It makes me feel better already :) <3

Hi CrazyCatLady, RFPF-Right for Permanent Residence Fee.

They emailed me and requested for it and we paid it... and since then nothing

Hi CrazyCatLady,

I was able to see the comments on our relationship because I ordered my GCMS Notes. You will be able to see where your case is and what's being done on your file if you order your notes, but your husband will have to order them, because only a Canadian citizen can order them. You will also have to sign a consent form in order for him to be able to order them. I filled out the form and emailed it to my husband and he printed it out and signed it and scanned it back to me and I ordered them that way. FYI: It costs $5 CAD to order notes and you can pay by credit card.

Here is the link to order notes:

https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do

and here is the link to the consent form you need to sign in order for your husband to apply for the notes on your behalf:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/form-imm5744.asp

Have your husband or yourself fill out the consent form with your info in section A and his info in section C (choose via email to receive notes). You then have to sign it and then scan it back to your hubby and then he can upload it to CIC. Pay the fee ($5) and you are all done. If you have anymore questions please feel free to ask.

The notes really helped me put my mind at ease as to where my case is. And the comments on my relationship with my husband were all positive, so I'm suspecting an interview will be waived.

Hi Lala, I'm curious where did you see notes on your relationship within the notes? More specifically, around what page'ish? My notes were 38 pages of emptiness, nothing was started, no notes made about our marriage. My son and husband did pass their physicals and that was it. My notes are from late March.... Thanks!

No, click the spreadsheet or FAQ link in my signature for info. In a nutshell for about the past year a lot of applications which would normally go to London have been going to Mississauga or Ottawa instead. This is due to a backlog of applications being dumped on London's doorstep.

That's awesome! Thank you so much for that! That's a big weight off my shoulders! Now all I gotta do is sit around and wait some more

I received an email saying the file was finalized and the visa package would be delivered in the coming weeks. That was their reply to me 4 days after I emailed them. You don't have to worry too much. It's not even two weeks yet since you got DM. My husband got his visa exactly 17 days after DM. :)

thank you sis.. i already sent an email 4 times and got auto reply. when will ur medical expires? is it a factor kasi sa august pa expiration ng medical ko...wag naman sanang hintayin til august. :( im worried na talaga

Hi Saria1
My notes were 37 pages and was similar to yours, only medicals passed for my husband and his son, but on the 34th and 35th page the v/o entered some remarks under the section titled NOTES, regarding how we met, our communication, proof of our relationship i sent in and near the end of the comments the v/o wrote 'ANALYSIS' and it said our 'relationship developed in a timely matter' and that the 'PA submitted several photos of the couple/family during various outings'. There were other positive things the v/o wrote in that section as well. I guess it all depends of the visa officer as to what and how they update the file. I order my file in April.

Ahhh, ok I know where you mean. The only thing that was said about our proof of marriage was that I supplied a marriage certificate... They said nothing about all the joint bank accounts or our pics together. Wonder if they'll make me submit more proof of a real marriage?!?!

Oh no, don't send too many emails lol. You are fine...not even a month yet since DM... Just wait, it will come :)

My husband's medical expires in June. His visa is valid until July. Meds expiry is not really a factor...though some got their visas because meds would expire soon. Most of the applicants get approved before the expiry anyway!

There is one January 2015 applicant who is now DM and just waiting for his visa to be delivered (CEM gave the tracking #). Take note that his medical doesn't expire until December, but his visa is on its way!

Just an update: bad news.

They received our application in Miss Ontario Oct 1st 2014 and I have already been cleared as a sponsored.

Our files went to Hong Kong Office and now they want to interview my wife on 25th June 2015. She is born in Philippines and is there as a foreign worker with work permit.
They want Police Certificates from everyplace she lived since 18 (now 41 and I'm 40) plus a page full of additional supporting documents about the relationship besides whats already been submitted originally.

They ask that I be by a phone here in CANADA because they "might" call me.

Husband had 30 minute interview today. They did not keep his passport, lady said they will let.him know in less than a month. We are hoping for great decision and sooner than later. Good luck all.

Hey,

Dont worry about the interview, most interviews are very straight forward and you can find tons of tips and information on this forum.
