I should probably see the Excel sheet.

Did you get your SA today or heard anything from them. Also did anyone else get there SA that applied on October 20. It seems like no one got SA last week just AOR and my speculation was incorrect.
Just fixed it. Some one had filtered it by visa office.tannygirl said:The spreadsheet seems to be missing all our info!!
Can someone please check whats happened?
Thank you!

Yes it looks like a lot of people got AORs but not SA hopefully we all get it this week.tannygirl said:Hi Rays,
No I haven't got my SA yet.
Still waiting to hear from them. My husband tried calling yesterday but didn't get through, he's going to call them tomorrow at 8am to find out whats happening- will post the info I get.
Yes it doesn't seem like they issued SAs, a few people got AORs in the week, but they seem to have acknowledged that they're working very slowly when they updated the timelines to 81 days.
On our part, all we can do is patiently wait.
Hopefully they might quicken the process for us in the second stage because I've seen that happen (when they've taken longer to process stage 1, stage 2 has gone quicker than anticipated in some applicants cases)
Fingers Crossed!!
Wishing you all a speedy SA!
Congratulation, all Oct. peoples!Applechunks said:Its so great to see all the AOR's and SA's for all us October People!
Congrats to everybody and yay for moving to the next phase!
just a heads up. generally, when the call center puts in a request for info on a file, they can only do 1 inquiry every 90 days. that means, when he calls back and they tell him whatever information they have (if any), most likely they will not be able to help him again until 90 days pass. i think there is something in the system that prevents multiple case specific inquiries within that time frame. this doesn't mean this will happen, this just means this is the "standard" seen. more likely than not, it won't matter as i'm sure his SA will come way before that time.tannygirl said:Hi Everyone,
Here's the update from my husband's call to the CIC call centre:
He told them that our file was received on 17/10/14, (the CIC website says working on files recd 20/10/14)
She has updated her records with "a full work alert for additional information or decision for sponsorship" with respect to our file.
She also said that my husband called at the right time since they can only try and get additional information on the status of the application once the date given on the CIC page has crossed,
so if he had called while the CIC page said 'working on applications recd on 16/10/14'- (which was the earlier date) she would not have been able to do anything and he would have to call after two weeks. (which is the standard response they give everyone)
Hope this means something's happening!
Good luck everyone, keep the spirits up and be positive!
Things will move forward for us all very soon!
Eep! That sounds scary! It's already been 88 days for us! I hope we don't have to call them for information again.rhcohen2014 said:just a heads up. generally, when the call center puts in a request for info on a file, they can only do 1 inquiry every 90 days. that means, when he calls back and they tell him whatever information they have (if any), most likely they will not be able to help him again until 90 days pass. i think there is something in the system that prevents multiple case specific inquiries within that time frame. this doesn't mean this will happen, this just means this is the "standard" seen. more likely than not, it won't matter as i'm sure his SA will come way before that time.
yeah, like i said, i doubt it will even come to that. just want you to be prepared in case nothing happens this time around, and you try again soon after. they might not be able to help further before you actually get SA.tannygirl said:Eep!
