I got my AOR on a Saturday Nov 29th and then SA came on Monday Dec 1st. From what I have seen, SAs doesn't take too long if you have already received an AOR. Like rhcohen mentioned, your SA should have your UCI number so there is nothing to stress out about. You are getting closer to your approval.

yes, generally the AOR and SA come within days of eachother, if not hours. it was common when we applied to get them on the same day.

rhcohen and warzo

Thank you so much guys, we are jumping with joy :)
Hope we all hear back soon

No AOR or SA for me today. But, I did call the FBI and after 11 weeks my husbands packet has been opened and we should receive the police report in 4-5 weeks, if the fingerprints are readable ;)

I'm just happy something somewhere happened :D

I hear you....any little bit of news become the source of joy, even something really insignificant. We are all so desperate to get on with life.
That's great news in regard to the FBI. Hoping AOR for you very soon.

I'm almost past 80 days and all I have is an AOR email. My speculation is that a lot of people that got AOR via email should have SA by this weekend. I say this because they have to update the processing time which they haven't updated for 21 days now and if they update it on Monday it will be past 85 days for SA processing time. So my guess is they will issue all the SA for people up to October 22 and then update the time to say around 72 or 73 days. I believe they don't want to update saying that it's taking 90 days to receive SA. Plus from looking at the spread sheet people in the past got SA within a day or two after AOR but for some it going to be 6 or 7 days after AOR that they have not received SA.

This is just my speculation.

You are right because this software is a tool to measure performance of employees known as KPI's (key performance indicators). However, who cares in govt dept.....

Congrats for your AOR :). Yes, you are right they need to keep that avg. down to show their productivity. But after all they are government employees, they are answerable to nobody, they don't care as to how many files they have been sitting on for the last 3 weeks doing nothing. They are processing October applications since the last week of November, and all they have managed is to clear files up to 20th October. :o :-\

I'm at 83 days now with an AOR which was received on 3/1/15 but no SA yet! :(
(90 if I count the date I sent it on 10/10/14- they recd it on 17/10/14) :-X

I hope rays17026 is right and we get our SAs by this weekend.

What would it take for these people to realise that they're toying with people's lives and marriages! How are we expected to go so many months without our spouses?
And in many cases people apply right after their wedding- they're forced to live apart in the very FIRST year of their marriage!
Evil!

May God have mercy on us and carry us through this ordeal. And also give the CIC folk some wisdom.

Good luck everyone.

I couldn't agree more. :'( I'm on day 75/76 now but still nothing.NO AOR, NO SA. My husband called CIC and they couldn't even give us any confirmation whether they did receive our papers or not on the date Canada Post gave us. They asked us to call again after 2 weeks if we still don't hear anything from them. This is really frustrating. :-\

Don't worry, you're next! :)
I got my AOR on 77/78th day.

Good luck to you! :)
