You need to go to your profile and click on edit profile. But this can be done only when you reach 10 posts. :)
Thanks! I thought it must have been something like that.

I sent in an email string of communication with a realtor, a short email string with the school board asking for info, an email string with the MP in the town we want to move to, which was focused on my proof of citizenship with quite a bit mentioned about the dept I was sent to was going to seriously delay our move to BC, an email string with the Director of CIC in Sydney explaining my intent to move to Canada and the need for a rush on my proof, proof of my husbands company to show potential employment, along with an email string with a prospective employer for a remote position for my husband. Then in the box on the application where it asked to explain our intent I wrote once we land we'll list our home and if it doesn't sell in a reasonable time we will have to rent it out and move and reiterated the work situation. In the mean time, I need to collect more proof, I bet they'll ask for more.

My FBI report went into queue on Oct 22nd. About 6 days before my application joined the CIC queue for sponsorship approval.

Thanks for the info saria1, I also included a letter of our intent with a timeline, etc. I hope it was enough! Would this affect SA or the next stage? We plan on moving to Canada in just a few weeks so I'm hoping that if they have any doubt it'll be settled since we'll already be in Canada, my husband, the applicant (i'm the sponsor) will be just be "visiting" us.

I'm at 66 days of waiting for SA so I think I'll give CIC a call this morning..

From what I understand, the SA relies more on the previous sponsoring history, income requirements, but for dependents and spouses we don't have income requirements. I think our intent is decided upon by the Visa officer.

Called CIC and they confirmed that we got SA yesterday! Apparently they mailed a letter even though I selected to receive correspondence via email, and they previously emailed the AOR.. anyways, I'm too happy to be annoyed! haha :D

I'm hoping this thread starts blowing up and rolling out responses of SA. Nothing would make me happier than to have to come on here and congratulate someone 10 times a day. :P
