I called cic and they said they have no information once it's gone to the visa office. They said I would have to contact NDVO regarding that . I haven't yet ordered for the notes cause someone said its early to order for notes as iam only an October applicant and they might have not even looked through my file . Some said to wait for 4 months and then order. I don't know what to do :(

:)
I think all the oct applicants got their aor2..and their is no harm in ordering notes..atleast u get to know ..wer is ur file rchd..at wat stage...call ndvo office..if u can
Good luck

Do u have Ndvo number ? Could u send me please ? . Iam getting worried now

perhaps you can do a case specific inquiry? or try calling cic mississauga again and ask if there's a uci number assigned to the principal applicant. If yes, then it's ok. I believe there were other october applicants who didn't receive aor2 from ndvo and it was just missed. relax, they probably just forgot to send it out (which happens). Or, the sponsor has a uci right? use that and log onto ecas, if you can see the principal applicant's info saying that the application was received, there's nothing to worry about.

Yes , I do have a uci number and I can see both information. I will do a case specific enquiry. Our SA and aor1 was late too , I got it after 4 months. Thats why I was just a lil worried , about aor2 . But thanks for the info :)

i don't blame you. wish you a smooth processing for the other stages. =)

hi i am oct 16th 2014 applicant. i received my SA on 17th dec 2014 and file transfer on 23rd dec 2014. Still my status is not changed to processing or anthng else. it jst says application received. is there any problem ? do i have to worry of missing something in file. thats why they are delaying?

Hey Ray85...you and I are the exact same on the schedule list. I too submitted Oct 16, got SA Dec 23 and transferred same date. I'm also still 'application received.' By reading through all of the other month posts, it seems they just haven't gotten to the Ottawa October applicants yet. Looks like August is getting some movement. It's frustrating, I know. :(

I am in the same boat! I received SA on Dec.11 and file transfer on Dec. 18. My status is still 'application received'. I haven't heard a word from CIC. It's frustrating, but I know it will come soon. Im hoping my husband is here by May!

Same here, will be leaving for Canada at the end of May under 'dual intent' with my family in tow. Still waiting for any sign of life frm Ottawa, hopefully around then we might have some movement...

Someone from August2014 had status changed to in-process so let's hope CPC-O has picked up the pace. Would be so awesome to be done with all this by summer.

Hi Jaffamuzz,

What do you mean by dual intent?

Dual intent as explained by the CIC

Thanks Bigredmoose.

I just read it. My other question is, I currently have a 3 year TRV for Canada and I live in New York City. How can I go about applying for dual intent?

I have another question:

I called CPC-O a couple weeks ago to check on the status of my application and to verify whether they had received my CSQ. They told me no they had not received my CSQ as of yet. My husband called the MIDI in Quebec and they assured us that they had sent my CSQ to Ottawa. I currently have my CSQ in my possession. Do I need to send it to them now or do I need to wait for them to request it. Someone wrote on a previous thread that I once read that their application took a while because they did not know that they needed to send their CSQ to Ottawa.

Can someone help me with this? Thanks :)

I applied in mid July, my wife got an email in late August requesting a tax document, so my official app received date was in October. Approved in January and today received an email requesting additional documents. My status still shows only as Application Received, but they are obviously looking at it now, so don't bank on your online status being accurate. US citizen sponsored by CA wife.

We have received the aor2 finally! I thought we would never get it. So relieved.
