We are on the same situation , me October 22, 2013 applicant its December its about 13 month since applied PPR in process July 8/ 2014. I sent an email to CEM November 30, 2014 and its confirm they had received it but no reply yet. So its a waiting time again for the reply for the letter and application as a whole. My letter was about inquiry on the status and asking them a reply confirming that we can send again NBI and Medical Check up to update the documents we had submitted in the last PPR.

As long as they received it... then it's just a matter of waiting game...the worst of all is not hearing anything from CEM...but lets keep on praying they are surely working on it...we are still waiting for the visa we had our PPR last Oct. 29 and in process Nov. 4. hoping for visa soon. keep the faith...God Bless!

I posted this in the big forum but thought I'd share this here too for my fellow Octoberians. I just wanted to share some happy news!!!! After almost 14 months of processing we finally heard back with the following letter:

"Your visa(s) for permanent residence to Canada is/are ready to be issued, conditional to a final admissibility review by an immigration officer. Your visa(s) will be valid for your initial entry to Canada until 2015/08/05 (yyyy/mm/dd)."

Naiiyak ako grabe. We just need to re-submit his passport asap. Hopefully we get it back quickly as we have a church wedding in January and our honeymoon planned right after in Japan. It says they will return it within 90 working days but we need it before January 4.

Timeline/Background
Application Received - October 7, 2013
SA - October 23, 2013
PPR - May 26, 2014
In-Process - July 10, 2014
Re-Medical Request - July 11, 2014
Re-Medical - July 28, 2014
Follow up with CEM via email- October 7 - they replied and returned husband's passport with no visa since we said it was hindering him from traveling (wrong choice of words on our part).

Congratulation!! It was great and your patience really counts , we almost have the same time line. I sent an email to CEM November 30 , 2014 but have not replied. In my email i reminded them that some documents had expired like the medical and the NBI so i had asked them if i can submit them after they replied, so its still a waiting time. I prayed and hope it would be a christmas gift for me and my wife. Thank you for info giving us hope..

Congrats Camwah...happy for you finally you already have your visa....you will be with each other soon.

Thank you Rod & Lynnie! Keep the faith and never under estimate the power of prayer. Still don't have the visa on hand but it's basically approved na. Hoping for the best. Hubby's passport is currently with the Japanese embassy for tourist visa but will be getting it back tomorrow or Monday. From there we will submit asap to CEM.

Merry Christmas to all!
