I did not read teh whole mail.. its written in the mail body... the mail addressed to me so I thought i will get one more mail addressed to my wife...

:D

I'm still waiting on medical request. :( I swear they lost my file. They told me in June I needed a police certificate, then to just email 2wks later saying they found it. At that point they said someone would be in touch in a couple weeks. Its been 5mos now. :(

Why don't you send another email or contact CIC?
What does your ECAS show?

I am in a similar situation. App received on Oct. 11, 2012. AOR received on Dec. 1, 2012. Police clearance certificate requested and sent in July 2013. No MR to date. ECAS status still shows "Application Received". I've requested for GCMS notes for more than 1 month already and still have not received it yet. :(

That's the reason for RCMP. They did a search on their database with her name and found a record with same name.

I just did a search - she may have to do this in her home country. According to the website, it can be done outside of canada as well - www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/cr-cj/fing-empr2-eng.htm

does any one know whether spouse need to land together or they can land separately ?

Spouse and principal applicant can land separately. However, the principal applicant must land first.

It still says Medicals received. I don't think they update it frequently everytime.

mine also says Medical Received
